ISSUE--TOO MANY SMALL BUDS

Hi folks

Second grow first one lost to mold. This time going one in notill organic soil Carmelicious auto from MSNL using QB132 @ 120w and blurple 350w. Using 3g fabric pot with tower fan, clip on fan, 6" fan and carbon filter in 5x5 grow tent. I've been running 18/6 lighting and temps 24c and RH 40%.

Started with 4th node top and left it at that with leaf tucking and minimal leaf removal.

Problem is currently in week 10 I don't have any big nugs all I've got are penny size flowers! How do folks get those "bic lighter" size nugs? IMG_0270.JPGIMG_0271.JPGIMG_0274.JPG

Wasn't sure where to post this thanks for the tip!

Yes, lots of buds. I very crudely count ~25 stems/tops or apical buds. If each stem ends up an average of >3 grams of bud, by my standards that's not anything to complain about.

Most people want more buds. Making a lot more branches and buds is why people do LST, topping, etc.

Recently in another thread, the consensus was that smaller buds are generally better quality than big buds (all other things being equal); big buds/colas are impressive, but simply not as potent as more smaller buds.

Looks like issues more than nug size. Brother i grow in peat moss and cow shit and get huge buds and nugs. Its mostly about root development. I just grew two lbs of lovely bud . no ph on water or medium . I just fed em. Its how much u feed them and what u feed them and a lot of other variables. Start reading basic gardening books and keep reading. Knowledge is power in any aspect of you're life.

What do you feed them?

I miracle grow and fish emulsions for veg. And switch to house and garden aqua flakes a and b for bloom. With shooting powder and mother of all bud, they are the flower boosters.

Those look pretty tasty! I'll upgrade from my fish fertilizer and look into those A and B flakes for bloom. Just at two weeks with my next Carmelicious so I want to try that route.
