ISO and water mix

Bummer... The glass jar with my ISO cracked and mixed with the water...
Refiltered for glass particles and currently cooling down...
What's the best way to separate it?

Using the water to evaporate off the alcohol? So now you have a cannabis+water+alcohol mix?

Other than putting it all in a glass pan and just letting it all evap off.... I don't know of another way...


Will watch this one, in case someone jumps in with a magic fix.

YEP..... Totally my own fault for using the wrong glass jug LOL

I suggest boiling off the alcohol (which will go 1st) and water. That's the fastest way to get to a concentrated oil/gunk. Boiling temp (in 212˚F/100˚C range) will also do decarboxylation well enough, and this relatively wimpy temperature is not going to result in loss/evaporation of any meaningful amount of cannabinoids, although most of the more volatile terpenes will be lost/evaporated off.

I know it involves a little $, but get yourself a small press, if your anything like me, you'll wonder why you wasted time with alcohol. I spent enough time and money to easily pay for the little press I use...
That's not counting the $ I've dropped on BHO equipment.
Grab a nug and some parchment paper, and your done 2 minutes later.

How much did you wash? A few grams? Or a few ounces?

I'll be getting a Rosin press at some stage but just can't afford one for the time being :-(
I didn't weight how much stuff there was but it was just flower parts from trimming out one of the plants earlier so not the biggest disaster.
