It says it is "produced from Norwegian seaweed, Ascophyllum nodosum".

Can i use this in my soil mix at 1/2 cup per cuft, like normal kelp meal?

I have been using kelp in my plants recently. I was wondering, maybe some of you with more experience can answer this. Does kelp used in veg cause excessive stretching? My current round of plants are all very large and I suspect the kelp may play a part in that. I have 2 plants in .75 gallon pots that are both 20 inches tall and haven't even hit their preflower stretch yet. My previous plants in those same pots hit 18 inches max.

Thanks @hecno and @Bob's Auto's! INice to see you guys and good to be growing again.

@hecno I'm about to trial these 3 soil mixes for both autos and photos. I will transplant into these soils after 2 weeks and cook the soil for a min of 2 weeks prior. I want them to survive through 2-3 more weeks of veg in this soil with only water and seaweed foliar and then be ready to start feeding for flowering with Bat Guano and Durian Peels.

Any thoughts on which mix is best and suitable for all types of plants? All are per cuft.

I've only mixed up Custom Mix 1 so far. been about 1 week and soil PH showing 7 or just over (using Hanna soil pen).
