Hi Guys,

I am a new grower and so far my grow has gone great, I have 9 autos growing under a 600w hps and they all seem to be doing great. They are 30 days from seed today and look like they are pre-flowering. Now I was inspecting the plants for any issues and noticed one had a few very small sacks, there is around 6 in total - I have some pictures if someone can help me out to say for sure if its a hermie.

I have removed the plant from the grow for now just incase. If anyone can help I would appreciate it!

Yes, can see the flowers coming out on left side--yellowish. Definitely not pistils--from my vantage point.

Good catch.

Cheers

going to try get better pics today. Seems strange that over 24-48 hours it turned hermie

So here is some better pics I manage to take today. I also included one of the grow - i think for first ever attempt they are looking good.

I am using these plants for concentrates so if this plant is 100% hermie does it need to be hacked down? I checked the rest of the plants today and all the rest seem ok so fingers crossed if this one is a hermie it didnt pollenate

It looks like it is sacks.. if it were me.....I might just pick off the sacks you see and not worry a whole lot about a few seeds (free beans :) if you just going to make concentrates.

They say don't breed with them but the two hermies I had smoked just fine.

I think I may cut the sacks off and keep it separated for a couple of days to see if anymore sacks appear. I was thinking about this yesterday, It would be a shame to chop the plant down as its really healthy.

If I cut the sacks off will this stop other plants changing hermie if I put it back in with them?

I decided to keep this one totally separated and grow it outside. Just chopped off all the sacks and will see what happens now, at least this way I can see what happens without risking the rest of the crop with pollination and hopefully still get some bud to use for concentrate.

Just thinking now the other day I damaged one of the branches (it recovered within a day) but I am thinking maybe this stress caused it to hermie - could be wrong as it was only bent like you would for super cropping.
