Always appreciate your good feedback. Yes, I check the trichs on her calyx and rarely look at the sugar leaves altho they are easier to view. I frequently look at several buds to make sure they are maturing evenly, and if they are not, I can stagger the chop as you mentioned.
I'll try some HF and read a soil slurry pH test. After your input and some additional reading, HF can stand some light feedling much more quickly than OF. Seems like a gentler version than OF.
Going forward I plan to try a different soil like you suggested in post [HASHTAG]#6[/HASHTAG]. I don't know if I can source it locally but I'll look and see if I can.
