Lighting Is this a decent light setup?

I've had several of their lights in the past. If you are jamming the tent with plants, you might consider buying two of their lower wattage lights for a better light spread. Also many of us in here have changed to the Autocob, which is built by user/sponsor BigSm0. You can check out those lights at www.cobshop.net. They are oustanding lights.

Looks like a lot of money for what it is. If you're spending that much buy 4 autocobs.

With the autocobs, they are silent, easy to repair if ever and with 4 you can adjust heights per plant.

I just received my first autocob from @BigSm0 from Cobshop.net. I have only had it up 24 hours. But I can tell you that he prides himself in quality, costumer satisfaction and keeping cost down. A million posts on this forum about his autocobs for you to research.

Unfortunately, I had already purchased this light setup before I started this thread, I should have made that more clear. Going forward, based on the reviews around here and apparently awesome customer service I'll be buying only @BigSm0 products.

That said, will this light be decent enough for what I'm working with? Can I expect decent yields assuming a good environment and little user error?

You guys rock btw, the community here is out of this world. Truly making my first grow seem less like rocket surgery.

hey @SlamJackson

I know you have bought your light but still watch this, your light made it to 10th on the list and pips a HPS and CMH... remember the diodes used on the top LED lights on this list are only using COB's made by cree, vero and lumex and the other diodes to remember is LM561c and the LM301 made by Samsung which are what make up the famous quantum boards by HLG and the many copys out there. Once you understand the diodes and driver that lights are using it becomes a lot lot easier to make that buying decision.... if you had come to me I would have said to buy a HLG 550 v1 for that price

still it looks like a really good light and it will grow the dank, tag me if you get a journal going love to see it in action.

I think you can try high end light UnitFarm grow bar, 2--3 pcs can work for your 3x3, it is waterproof, light efficiency is amazing

Hey @Slater, or anyone else that might know for that matter, how much should I expect a led setup to increase the temp in a 3x3 tent? I know that you cant say accurately, but a ballpark would be awesome. 10 degrees? 5 degrees? nothing at all?

I'm determined to get this grow right the first time by bugging all you pros out there. :worship:
