Starting under hps can sometimes speed flower up by triggering early in autos, or go hydro, results are quicker usually, but mid grow this isn't really an option.

Apart from that, I don't really think there's anything.

hi , if your in 2 second week flower an new years is 3 weeks away , your plant would of be 5 weeks flowering ?, there is a possibility there mate , some autos do finish earlyer than others ( what strain are they ?) , ide increase your light on time , an do as best to look after a ph an see where your at , in all honesty at liest 6 weeks on some strains i know of (big bang auto ect )..... also to add , give or take 5 days drying time , hope it works out for you

godda just hope then i guess. on the up side there are two in there so if i crop the smaller on (that went into flower 2 days sooner) i can still leave the other one. . .

strain in home made. i crossed a random joint dr breeding pack male into a blue acid auto fem from kalashnikov,,, collected the male and crossed it back into the blue acid and also into joint dr purple ryder fem. the two plants in here are one each of those i think or might both be the blue acid... they look kinda similar.

other details , the two plants are in a 5lt pot with 4x reused biobiz soil mixed 50% with fresh coir this time. feeding a mix of biobiz grow and bloom, baby bio, top max bud stim, canno mono trace and plant magic cal mag..... no PH readings at all but i do have a blue lab pen.... to be honest not grown for a quite a few months other than to make the seeds im using now a few months ago. . . any idea on what my ph should be? never added coir to the old soil before and seem to recal it does change ph requirements. .. . . been a while since i grew or had a smoke and cant remember . . cant even remember what PH i was giving them before i added the coir this time. . . lazy lazy grow .lol.

i was kinda thinking giving them more dark time would speed things up??? if your or anyone has comments on that? maybe going down to 12/12/ now they are in flower might make it think its time to finish? would love a smoke for new year, even i have to fast dry it on the light bulb hood over 24hours

Yeah I think this one holds true in general. When the taproot hits the bottom, it sends a signal to get into the flowering business. That is just my impression of how things goes. Hunch.

this is interesting. . . i always tend towards deeper pots and make shift none plant-pot pots that tend to be deeper. & i do usually get a lot of good branch nodes. will deffo test this when i move and put my first grown on next time. cant ever wait

Yeah man I would be interested on any test results on that. I am not the only one who has been saying this. I even think it is same with DWC systems. Usually I have had earlier flowering with reservoirs that are not as deep as my main reservoir. But like I said, that is just a hunch at this point.

interesting the breeding your doing mate :) am watching dude!
agreed a quick cure / dry should see you some smokebles an save you some time .
the ph in soil ive read is best around 6.5 . and for coir / hydro around 6.0 is a safe bet !. not so sure for both together ? ,maybe others with more knowledge on the soil front could help you here ! ......... if your after a h pen these are decent :http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Essential...120428?hash=item1c53bf266c:g:Ew4AAOSww9VXhPxz
