Hey all, I’m looking into getting an infusion device. I’ve made several attempts to decarb and infuse for edibles, and they don’t turn out very well. Thinking it’s my technique, so I’m looking to simplify with a device. What are ya’ll using? There’s several out there (Levo, ardent, magic butter machine, etc.) and I’m looking for opinions/advice/reviews to put me on the right track. Hoping for something that can decarb and infuse oils, milks, honey, whatever. Also plan on using both flower and concentrates. Thanks!

I had a magical butter awhile back that I really liked. A few things to note with it are you will have to use a few ounces of material at a time and it will be a larger batch of end product. Came with a strainer and glove if I remember right, really easy to use and can do butter, oil, and tinctures. You will need to decarb it beforehand though

If you want something that will be make smaller amounts the levo looks pretty cool. I havent used one but I've looked into them and might try one. It will decarb and infuse all in one go so it makes it a lot easier.

Just looked at the ardent and it looks like more of the middle ground between them and honestly appears to be the most versatile. Will decarb and infuse just like levo and takes up to 4oz without a min requirement like the magical butter. If I really had to choose one I'd probably go with that one, it looks really nice.

Thanks for the info! Yeah the ardent is what I’m looking hard at, because like you said it seems to be the most versatile. I read a review of a Noids pot (?) that seems good, just haven’t had a chance to dig deeper on that one. Much appreciated!

Myself and @WildBill both have Ardent machines. Very easy to use. I highly recommend it. The really nice feature is that you can do small amounts or large amounts. I think the Magic Butter Machine requires a certain amount to function properly.

Decarb is one button push. Once the cycle ends, add your oil/butter, put it on the infuse setting, push button, wait, and done!

The only hard part is waiting for it to finish. I would absolutely get the silicone infusion sleeve.

After a good bit of research and testimonials from AFN members I'm saving up for the Ardent myself......with the sleeve.
It's a very important device, that as a home grower, It helps you fully utilize the canna you grow. The infused meds I make helps me and a few other people, some quality meds.
I put it up there with my BubbleBowls and my NuggSmasher Mini as my valuable tools.

I got a book for my birthday from my lovely wife and it had a great step by step guide and how to dose right etc I'll get the isbn number,
But I normally,
1 ounce of trim
1 250 gram quality butter
Decarb weed
Then melt butter in a slow cooker and then add trim leave and a jug of water,
Cook on medium for 4 to 6 hours,
Strain and really strain the plant matter and put liquid in fridge over night then carefully cut the solid butter out and pat of any excess water with paper towel,
Then put in fridge,
Potency 60-65mg of thc per teaspoon
Hope this helps

Book isbn number,

Edibles
Small bites for the modern cannabis kitchen,
This book really changed everything for me in regards to edibles,
I tweaked the dosage to correctly and had some amazing butter, oil, coconut oil
Happy growing
And good luck

I have a MBM and like it FWIW. Got it at a steep discount so that's why I went with it. Easy to use. I infuse butter, MCT and olive oil in it. Works great. IMHO, YMMV, etc.
