As I gather together items for my small grow area I'm looking for a low CFM 4" inline blower that can pull air eventually through a 12" charcoal filter.

I don't need a lot of air moved. My grow area is small.
Most fans I see are for larger spaces and cost accordingly. I'm not looking for that much.

Any sources? Thanks a million!

Shred :Sharing One:you should size it to the filter brother a 4 inch fan on a 12 inch filter is going to stress your fan and cut its life expectancy, if im understanding you correctly and sorry it told so long and i hope i helped let me know!!! ....and good luck with your grow my friend:stylez rasta smoke:

Thanks. I didn't know that. What would be a proper size filter for a 4"?

Are you talking about a 12in long filter? Or one with a 12" duct opening?

If it's a small 12" long one a 4" fan should do the # just fine, how big is the duct opening on the filter?. Most filters have a max CFM rating and you just want to get a fan under that CFM. a 4" fan could push about 50-180CFM. Ideally you want to cycle the whole volume of air in your grow chamber 4+ times a minute.

12 inch long. 4 inch diameter. Thanks

Just in case you want to expand, I'd go with a 6" Fan and reduce it to 4" and add In the fan speed controller.

Something like this one Works real well.
VenTech Variable Dial Router Fan Speed Controller for Duct and Inline Fans

VenTech 6" Inch Virgin Carbon Charcoal Air Filter Scrubber for Odor Control

VenTech 6" Inline Duct Booster Blower Fan of 440 CFM

This will take on up to a 8 X 8 space...
