My new meter arrived today. $25 USD

USB-C rechargeable. It also displays temp, and humidity, but we all already have that.

I intend to use this to do some inexpensive DIY CO2 making by fermentation, and to see if the popular CO2 bags actually do anything worthwhile.

My baseline reading here varies from 440-443 PPM.

To see if it is actually working, I blew into the sensor grating. Immediately the readings rose to 1,300+ These numbers seem consistent with online data.

I'm not so interested in total accuracy as I am in seeing the delta of various generating devices. This meter seems capable of showing the change if any.

Yeah very interested in a link to a $25 monitor. I too am interested in seeing if my yeast bombs and/or exhale bags do anything productive.

All good. I’ve seen that one before but it was a little more expensive last I looked. Let us know how it works. I think the reviews gave me pause. But it’s Amazon so…

Heh I bought that one too, great light
I found this Inkbird for 35 bucks but you have to jump through some hoops to get the 50% off (you message them in their thread they get back to you then you do Amazon search for CO2 detector, screenshot your search, send it back to the forum guy then they send you the 50% off code)

Yeah, I've seen these and clones flooding Ali as well. They use the exact same chip I bought a couple of days ago. The only thing is that I have to build something around it and code it, but that's what I like to do :)

This is the one that I was looking at actually. And yup there's like 50 of each of these monitors with different branding. One of the (many?) reasons I don't do Amazon as much these days. But I do use an Inkbird controller for my humidifier so thanks for this info. Never even knew that they were on the forum!

Edit - I see that they are on a different forum.
