Hi All and thank you for stopping by :welcome:

I've been growing for many years now but only with the Photo Girl's.
Towards the end of last year i decided to have a go at some Auto's as the photo girls took so long to finish some of them were getting mould in the greenhouse due to the Crap British Weather :yoinks: and i struggled with the 8 foot monsters in my grow tent due to too much heat from the HPS.:crying:
I'm also Disabled with Many health problems and have NO spare cash to play with :cuss:

This led me to rethink and redesign how i grow and what i grow and i thought i'd put it in writing not only for myself but also for any newbies to this fine hobby that have a Tight Budget to work with. :toke:

For my Indoor Grow i have:
1200x1200x2000 grow tent
Viper 300 LED Grow Light (My NEW Toy thanks to some Very Helpfull AFNer's Advice).
4" Inline Fan & Charcoal Filter
12" Fan
2x Heated Propergator's
3x Cheapo 20Watt (12"x12") LED Panel's from HK + 2 or 3 20Watt CFL's for side lighting.

My Outdoor Grow is still a working project.
My homemade greenhouse is mostly recycled apart from the timber framework and screws. It's taken me 3 years so far but is nearly finished (I Hope lol...) and workes Better than most of the shop bought one's at 5x the Price.
I'll get some Photo's and Size's up next time i'm in the garden :toke:

I Also have a Couple of AutoPots that i normally grow Chilli Peppers in so i thought i'd try a couple of Auto's and stick them in the greenhouse to see how they do.

I'm off for a nice cup of Tea now but while i'm gone i'll sort out some Photo's of my 2x Baby Auto Girls that are a couple of weeks old for you to see  and i'll tell you what i'm growing?:woohoo:

Sorry for such a long opening post but i thought if i get it all out of the way now the updates will be a lot quicker to take in :joy:

So on the 3rd April i planted a GDP (Grandaddy Purple Auto Fem.) out in the greenhouse using Cheap compost from the local Homebase Store here in the UK in a 3 Gallon smart pot.
Using 25% Perlite, 25% Vermiculite and 50% Compost with a 5mm layer of potting Compost on top. 20160403_152138.jpg
Due to it being so cold outside still i put a 2Ltr bottle over the top for extra heat and she'll be getting fed Rain Water collected from the greenhouse roof.

On the 14th April she was pushing the soil out of her way to say Hello 20160414_140054.jpg and i also added a fleace jacket around her for added warmth. (the type used for overwintering shrubs/bushes from frost).
Now to save a lot of JibberJabber i'm going to stick a load of photo's up in one go and they are Dated (yyyy.mm.dd) up to 30th April. 20160417_135551.jpg 20160420_161512.jpg 20160424_180227.jpg 20160424_180448.jpg 20160425_154103.jpg 20160425_154702.jpg 20160427_173427.jpg 20160428_142353.jpg 20160430_150252(0).jpg

Now when i say the weather here in Wales is crap, here are a few screen shots from my phone for the last couple of weeks :yoinks: 20160422_122346.jpg 20160427-133629.jpg 20160427-133854.jpg and we've been having a lot of ground frost Every morning.
Now the good thing about my greenhouse is that with a few min's of sunshine the Temp's shoot up to 75/80 F and stay there for Hours even when the sun goes in :yay: and an overcast day reaches around 60/65F even when outside is bloody freezing :woohoo1:

I'm going to start feeding Fert's this week and will cover that once i've put my growtent grow up

Well the Opiates are kicking in now so i'm going to call it a night, I'll try to get everything up to date for tomorrow night and then it'll be nice and quick updates from then onwards
If anyone has any questions or can give me some much needed advice then please feel free to say hello :bighug:

Ps. does anyone know why my photo's have gone upside down and sideways? they are all the right way up on my pc...:haha:

I have an Auto Fem. Blueberry in the growtent at the moment that was planted again in a 3 Gallon Smart Pot using the same mix of soil as the greenhouse grow.
Instead of using my 600W Duel Spectrum HPS light because of the High cost of electric and Stupid amount of heat :yoinks: i bought a Viper300 LED to save cash and reduce heat.
This soil mix was also used last year to test a GDP and the Viper300, so it's second hand soil which is something i do quite often :eek1: But does not seem to bother the girls one bit.
I dropped the seed in on the 18th April and sat the pot on the heated propergator and on the 21st April she popped up and said hello.
Now like my greenhouse grow she is going to be watered with rain water throughout her short life.
The GDP and Blueberry are both listed as 10 Week Girls but having tested both late last year they both went on for 13 Weeks before being ready.
I'm going to stick a load o pic's up now of my Viper and my Baby girl who is 12 days old today :woohoo:
20150905_151908.jpg 20150905_151919.jpg 20160421_120618.jpg 20160421_120718.jpg 20160423_155255.jpg 20160424_154234.jpg 20160430_135933.jpg 20160501_165103.jpg 20160501_165138.jpg 20160501_165157.jpg 20160502_155951.jpg

I always try to use Organic Ferts and this is what i have to hand 20150718_142927.jpg 20150722_142147.jpg 20160502_122319.jpg and i also have Plant Magic Magne-Cal+ and Cold Pressed Neem Oil.
I've not started feeding yet them yet but the Greenhouse GDP is due to be fed any day now.

All i've got to do now is empty the 2 Chilli plants out of the AutoPots and get another couple of auto girls growing and then start a Photo girl or 2 :yay:
I Think i need a Bigger Greenhouse lol...

Hi guy's and gal's
Here's an update of my 2 girls so far.
The Auto Blueberry in the growtent who i've named Bertha (Hopefully Big Bertha as she grows :yay:) has really started to expand in height and width.
She is around 8" tall and aprox. 10" wide 20160508_132419.jpg 20160508_132434.jpg 20160508_132450.jpg and she is 18 Days old today.
I forgot to mention that her lighting is set for 18hrs on and 6 hrs off and the Temp's are around 76/82F with a RH of between 45-55.
Bertha was fed her first feed 3 days ago which was 1.5ml of Bio Grow, 1.5ml of Magne-Cal+ and 1ml of Liquid Silicon in 1.5ltr's of rain water.
I was going to test the PH of the rain water but the battery has run out in my PH tester so I will have to wait untill i order some more.

Bertha and the GDP both have Humboldts Secret, Golden Tree added every other watering at 1ml per 2ltr's of rain water. Haveing seen what this stuff does for my other garden plants and fruit & Veg i thought it's got to be worth a shot :woohoo1:

The GDP in the greenhouse is a little smaller but i put that down to the Cold nights and not enough sun during the day although as i write this it is sunny and 104F in there with the door open and the automatic window open in the roof.:hothot:
She seem's to be loveing that heat though so if she's happy then i'm happy for her :bighug:
Here's a couple of Pic's of her from 2 days ago and she's also had the same feed as Bertha but without the CalMag and also a couple of pic's of my homemade greenhouse
20160506_152236.jpg 20160503_175403.jpg 20160503_175414.jpg 20160503_175426.jpg 20160503_175437.jpg 20160506_152251.jpg 20160506_152304.jpg I'll try and get a photo of the outside of the greenhouse now the weather is nice and not raining and a pic of GDP once it's cooled down later on tonight :toke:

And just so Bertha isn't alone i'm going to name the GDP Dave... Don't ask me why? lol... It just seem'd right at the time of writing this :crying:

I'm always up for questions, suggestions or advice so please feel free to ask away :jointman: Unless you want me to change Dave's name coz it ain't happening :crying::rofl:

I had to go outside anyway so here is Dave (GDP) and my greenhouse which is 3m x 2m x 2.2m (LxWxH).
Dave is around 10" tall and around 8" wide now :woohoo: 20160508_170520.jpg 20160508_170546.jpg 20160508_170559.jpg
I'm not going to bore you guys to tears with daily updates and photos unless something strange happens and will try to update each Sunday instead.
Unless you want to ask for a photo in which case i'll take a picture as long as it's not raining or they are on their Lights Off period. :toke:

Take care all and Happy Growing :bighug:
Rottie...

Hi all, Sorry for the 3 week gap since my last entry.
I had a little accident and broke 2 fingers on my left hand, dislocated 2 fingers on my right hand and broke a few ribs just to make sure the trip to hospital was worth the 6 hours wait in the casualty department :haha: I've also got a fantastic black eye that any boxer would be proud of

And now for the Bad News....
Because of my accident I wasn't able to get into my tent or out to the greenhouse for 4 days to water my girls (7 days in total without water) and this is what happened to Bertha the Blueberry 20160514_205856.jpg 20160514_205907.jpg this was taken around half hour after watering her and she had picked up quite a bit.
It's been a bit of a struggle trying to nurse her back to health over the last few weeks and they've only had plain rain water coz i can't open their bottles of fert's but she's done quite well and now looks like this today which is day 42 and well into flowering faze 20160531_122603.jpg 20160531_122704.jpg 20160531_122733.jpg

Dave on the other hand (GDP) wasn't too bad as its been cold at night and the day temp's haven't gone much over 70f-75f since my accident but even though she is Older than Bertha she is looking very tall and lanky without much in the way of branches, This is her the day after i found Bertha half dead 3 weeks ago.20160515_194009.jpg 20160515_194015.jpg And this is how she looks today on Day 49 20160531_102525.jpg She is just about thinking whether or not to flower

Sorry for keeping this update a bit shorter than normal but my ribs are killing me and it's hard to type with one eye and strapped up fingers

Bertha has been fed Twice this week with BioBiz Bloom and BigBud. On Wednesday she drank 1.5 Liters of rain water mixed with 3ml of Bloom and a Small pinch of bigbud (Note to self, Get battery's for scales to weigh bigbud lol...)
And today (Sunday 5th) she drank 2ltr's of rain water with 3.5ml Bloom and a Small pinch of bigbud.
It's been Hot in the tent this week and today it reached 92F and i couldn't do anything about it but she looks good and is starting to smell nice. (I Think it's day 46 today) 20160605_210059.jpg 20160605_210111.jpg 20160605_210117.jpg 20160605_210422.jpg 20160605_210439.jpg 20160605_210450.jpg

Dave the GDP has only been fed once this week with 1.5ltr rain water and 3ml of BioBiz Grow. She is now standing at around 3 foot tall and there's still not much to look at.
It just goes to show what the cold nights can do to these plants. It was also hot in the greenhouse today reaching 104F at lunchtime :hothot: Here she is today at day 53 20160605_182116.jpg 20160605_182135.jpg and she's Still growing Taller every day :yoinks:

I'm afraid it's another short update this week even though I've nearly got the full use of my right hand and both eye's.
My ribs and the heat are causing a few problems so hopefully if it snows this week i should be ok to carry on and start the Autopot's by midweek sometime.:yay:

WATCH THIS SPACE!!! It doesn't do anything but watch it anyway lol...

How's it going guys, I hope you are all happy & well :toke:

It's going to be another quick update as nothing much has happened to Bertha and Dave this week.

Dave the GDP seems to have stopped growing upwards now and is at a guess around 4 foot tall.
She has started to show her Purple colours now and is smelling a bit skunky, she might even have a fruity smell to her but it's hard to tell due to the amount of Strawberry's also growing in the greenhouse.
Dave has had 2 waterings this week with just plain rain water as she has started to flower and i forgot to take out the BioBloom feed with me.
I'll check on her on Wednesday and give her some Bloom and BigBud if she's thirsty but with the weather being pretty crap she's not drinking as much at the moment.
Here she is as of today at day 61 20160613_144747.jpg 20160613_144754.jpg 20160613_144804.jpg

Bertha the Blueberry on the other hand is looking and smelling pretty dam good :woohoo1:
She is still drinking around 3.5 to 4 liters or rain water a week.
She had 2 liters of plain rain water yesterday due to having a little too much Bloom on Wednesday and will probably have the same on her next feed.
I think she's a little Fertiliser Sensitive compared to the other varieties of MJ that i've grown in the past and i'll have to keep an eye on that in the future.
Here she is taken yesterday on day 53 20160612_183948_001.jpg 20160612_183951.jpg 20160612_184001.jpg 20160612_184012.jpg
Looking at both girls it's hard to believe that they are Both meant to be 10 week finishers and yet Dave is Older than Bertha by Only 1 week!!! But just look at the difference between greenhouse & grow tent growing... :yoinks:
I'm sure quite a bit of this is down to my neglect due to breaking a few bones but i'm gobsmacked at the difference compared to my test grow at the end of last year

Well i've gone and done it Again :yoinks::naughtystep::jawdrop:
I've got a checkup at the hospital tomorrow so i thought i'd look in on Bertha to make sure she's alright as i won't be home till late tomorrow night (I normally water her on a wednesday morning).
She is BONE DRY and looks a mess. I've just given her 2 liters of tap water only because it's chucking it down outside and i couldn't be arsed getting wet lol...
Looking on the bright side though, She's starting to get covered in some lovely sparkly crystals and she smells so Fruity i just want to eat her all up :bighug:

Dave in the greenhouse however is still doing fine so i've not needed to panic over her as of yet mainly because the weather is crap which means she'll not drink anywhere near as much as Bertha who has 80-87f and an RH45-50% pretty much 24 hours a day at the moment in her tent.

I'll check in on Bertha when i get home tomorrow night and stick a pic or 2 up to show how she reacts after tonights drought and drenching just to show some of you newbies how it's not as bad as you think it can/will be.

Bertha the Blueberry is alive and well again :yay: and looking much more healthy than she did 24 hours ago :woohoo:
She's lost a few of her big fan leaf's but other than that she's doing well and here she is tonight:

I've also checked in on Dave the GDP as it's been quite a sunny day here and can get Very Hot in the greenhouse but she's just doing her own thing quite happily and contented

I'll check back in on Sunday with their normal update unless i try to kill them Again :yoinks:
Take care guy's and remember... Don't Panic, Your girls can take a lot of abuse and survive... Just Don't do it as many times as i do it :wall::goodluck:
