The left is a Creme Caramel at 9 days and to the right a Northern Lights at 10 days. The NL popped out in a hurry and must have expended lots of energy. The perlite is heavy on top soil for later reflective purposes. Soil is tiered.

Update six days later. Note--I will not add any more to this thread. Just showing size difference and growth.

Photo at pre-watering slight drought, appearance, on the surface. NL is bring newest set of leaves down. CC would not stay still--part of left leaf out of pic. ;)

I've got 3 Cream Caramels, and I gotta say this is an extremely vigorous strain!

That's pretty solid though for 9 days, she'll start taking off soon :)

I agree.I also have cream caramel at 11 days and they are really kicking in.A lso have one ak thats good.but only two out of five germed,so im a little pissed about that.I just put another cc in water to replace the ak but now it will be way behind witch i didnt want.

Hey Smiffee(Sorry it's a character from Gavin&Stacey, UK show). You have seen mine and the problems I have been having. Same ones, CC and NL. My NL is BARELY hanging on for dear life like Luke hanging before getting his hand whacked off by Vader, except a girl. Anyway, the CC is 2nd runner up but she is a couple days behind and the one that is ahead is the Critical Mass which are known for vigorous growth and yield. With that being said, CC rocks! And apparently NL or from that farm or something is kinda slowish, especially at first. And I know AFs don't like nutes early on the NL Reeeally doesn't like em.
SO. You're all good brother :D

No, prob squid. My forum name is flexible, in fact, I think I like Smiffee better. I need to download a G&S from PB--sad to say publicly, but, I have never viewed the show. Hoping your NL gains a foothold. The one pictured is an Attitude freebie from Royal Queen Seeds. I had planned on purchasing several Nirvana seeds but replaced with AKs (didn't germ) when I ordered after the free NL notice popped up. Kept my fingers crossed on its germing. Still going to watch it--carefully, it is tiny. NL is a great all around smoke, and one I would pick if I had only one choice to make. Indeed, it looks like the CC strain has good genes. Will be checking in on your grow journal. I will keep you posted and post photos from time to time. Take it easy.

Namvet and TheKalyxKid. Good to see all of us with similar germ dates/strains. Will be on the look out for your journals and posts.

Thank you sir. Yeah mine are Nirvana NLs. Now I wanna just buy a couple more of those NL auto fems again and grow them in my upcoming DWC grow. Alongside those will be durrrty dragons.

Oh ya got to get some of those dragons. On my list too. Kick everyone out of the house and make room for the plants. :twist:

haha. I hear that. Don't wanna kick out the missus though. I'll be happy with two tents when that time comes. I just want a really productive simple-ish perpetual grow.

Started some CC's 5 days ago - heat was a problem as they started very quickly also (crazy sprouting/germination - one day) then have slowed down/stagnant for 3 days with the leaves pointing up. Lowered the heat and put a fan on one, seem to be recovering, was getting worried, hope this 85 F heat outside cools off (should) and I see some growth from days 7-10 as usual. Leaves look healthy.

Interested to see how your CC's and NL's go Alan.

TokinNuggs--same situation. Temp is arisen. Same here will be watching your grow.
