Right now I grow in a medium called Budmud, a soil specifically prepared for marijuana. I dont add nutes, just every 3 weeks I add earth medicine and a compost tea.

Im considering going to regular soil and doing my own nutes. Im retired and home all the time and devote everything I have to my plants, so I am able to do the nutes and keep an eye on things. My main questiosn are: are the nutes a big hassle to do? Do you think there would be a higher yield with soil and nutes versus premixed soil and no nutes? Any other advantages or disadvantages? Thanks for any and all replies

If you're at home every day why don't you try growing in Coco?

i agree with @JSH1973 i find you have more control and faster finishing plants but I'm also thinking why fix something that's not broke if your methods working already but the coco is a great shout

Im big time into experimenting as I grow different strains, I have an ACMPR license for up to 98 plants.
Ill research coco, I know nothing about it

Ive been asked how I got a 98 plant license
I have stage 1 parkinsons and a menu of mental health issues, and the weed is massive in controlling these issues. I also only grow autos which are smaller by nature. On the medical document 98 plants equates to 20grams per day. I dont smoke that much but I also dont grow that much. I max out at 40 plants. Licence to Grow suggested the 98 licence as a just in case, and for the price it was worth it. On a side note Licence to Grow has absolutely FANTASTIC customer service
