Hey guys this is my 3rd grow so still learning first were fairly successful.

But I'm having a few issues here which I'm not sure if they are rot? Or doing that from a lock out. Unsure how tho as my other plant gets the same feed and is fine different strains tho.

Problem: not sure if lock out or from humidity
-Medium/grow method: Coco hand watered.
-Feed and supplements used: advanced Coco a Nd b and kloom bloom. But two days ago just changed to house and garden a+b and top shooter but it was doing this before the change old stuff run out.
-Water source: tap
-Strain and age
Dutch passion wgite widow
-Climate: had been fairly warm high twenties. Humidity is mid 60s but have seen it sweating in therr

- Light used: 360w cob
-Additional info:

Think it would of started about a week ago the only thing I can think of is the humidity or the one time i left the tray under for a day maybe it sucked up rank shit and had csused a lock out. was feeding at around 1.0 EC but it does rise abit sometimes. Honestly I got no idea haha.

Noob here. The heavy hitters will be by in a bit. Fix that humidity now, you’ll risk losing the buds if they get much bigger with those numbers. Is she getting enough bloom nutes?

Yeah i

Yeah not sure either. Feed has always been around EC 1.0 could need more ? But yeah idk. Yeah I've tried to keep humidity down but it's hard when it's 80% where I live atm. Might just flush her and see what happens.

All right Fatr mate, it's such a bastard dealing with humidity over here! I'm reading 80-95% these days, it just don't stop pissing down here in the jungle.
Top Shooter really takes it out of your leaves, that rusty mottling happens if the plant isn't in tip top condition before you go adding these late bloom boosters, I can only imagine the Kloom Bloom does much the same. As long as the buds are still forming etc, you should be OK.
I just dunno whats happening in the 3rd pic... ending in 182905... is that mould or dead bud?
Anyway, just my guess, hope it goes well Bro.

Hey man thanks for chimming in!
I know the humidity is fucked haha I have a fan pretty on flat out in there to keep it down still doesn't help haha. Is at 67% atm. And yeah we have actually had abit of rain to and low twenties then the next day it's 30 haha it's fucked.

Yeah cool that does make sense cos the inner of the leave still looks fine. The other plant is showing little bits but nothing as bad and is pumping.

But it's I'm pretty sure they are still forming this one is just abit slower then the other. But yeah that's the main reason of this post I thought it might of locked out and that was bud dying. or it might of just started to go mouldy and I caught it in gime not sure? Was kn a couple but nothing major just ripped it out. It was more browny and dead looking then normal mould ? I had a little I the last week of last grow.

Thanks heaps man

This is pic of the other plant it's younger to it's a seeds man strain though. But most of your Dutch passion strains take a easy 90 days or more? Do you reckon they look ok? I thought they are abit stringy looking compared to others.

:toke: -- what's the distance to the lights?
-- are you doing 15-20% run-off each time, with fairly mild dosing of nutes? (Need a TDS/EC for that)
-- are you monitoring both pH and TDS/EC (ppm) going in and going out? using Ca-Mg,... never water alone,...?
...coco cannot be treated like true soil, or problems will surely come,.. it's a specialized medium, lot's of do's and don't's,... in some way's it's closer to hydro!
RH% is not behind this,... something is off in-pot, pH and/or nute salt build-up very likely,...Lockout city IMO,.... Tops are worst? Smacks of a micronute defc., maybe P too,....
The fix is hard to call with no pH and ppm info,... blind flushing is about it, and in coco, that needs to be a specific solution or you'll screw up the coco's CEC (cation exchange capacity) worse potentially,...

Lights probably only 2-3inchs from main colas? Yeah man always feed with my ph at around 5.8 and ec around 1.0 since been in bloom.

Haven't checked the run of as it sits on the trays for abit I'd have to clean the trays and them tip some through to get a proper reading.

Do you still reckon use cal mag at this stage? I wasn't because if you are using the advannced nutes they reckon you don't have to. And had only been on house and garden nutes for a day .

Yeah didn't think rh would make it due of probably abit to do with rot. But there is definitely something else up now.

I'm going to make up a ec 0.6 feed pH that and flush 20 litres through it and see what happens then.

Thanks for your reply man

So I cleaned everything and made up a ec 0.6 mix. Flushed it through and first reading after 5 litters was like ec 1.8 so there was my problem and pH was 4.8 so I just keof flushing. Took nearly 40 litres just kept mixing the same up. Got it back down to ec 0.6ish. and oh still low but at around 5.2.

My other plant was the same just must of caught it in time tho so it got the same treatment.

Now I mixed up a ec 1.0 ph5.8 feed and put 3 litres through.

Ec showed at . High 0.6's and pH still around 5.2 so going to leave it for tonight and come back tomorrow Arvo after work and start feeds at the same ec. But going to up the pH to say 6.2? Bring it back up. Thanks for your help guys . @Teetee @Waira

whoa! Lights are way too close, most recommend 15-18" from tops, or they may suffer issues,....
Now you see why you have to get that run-off thing going-... that input and out going solutions are you way to manage and tinker things and keep troubles at bay,....
Always, Ca-Mg, never water alone, that's coco for you,.... pH is best around 5.8-6.0.....

Yeah ok even with cobs? I've moved them them to about a foot away now.

Yeah definitely going to keep onto it all the the time now. Hopefully they come back and fatten up some more.
