Hi I am new here and I have a question about these things here http://www.diamond-grow-lights.com/illumitex-LED-Mini-Grow-Light:::54.html

For say 1 autoflower how many would you need?

I cant quite grok what these may be capable of as I am not terribly bright when it comes to this technical stuff.

I assume you could go well with like 2-4 of them maybe?

For the price do they seem like they would be worth while?

Cant find any input anywhere on these so I am just going to get one and if I like it I will get a lot more.

I guess the main thing that draws me to them really is the low power consumption since I want to dabble in off grid power supplies eventually have a handful of these around could only be a good thing.

YO, They look cool mate,

Good idea for side lighting, to get to the lower areas.

But you cant beat a good overhead main LED growlight.

Plenty to see on this excellent site what they can do!

The GN is a briliant bit of tech if ya looking for a main LED, check out other threads on here with it. I love mine to bits.

Those small guys are used mainly to illuminate a specific bud not do an entire grow.

At only 11 watts each you would need quite a pile of them and then you are heading towards the price of a regular panel!

Rather have a look at some of the cheaper LED panles, even ones from China work well.
Tell us about your grow space, size height etc... and your BUDGET! And LOCATION (general)
We will be able to help you out a bit better!

Well I have a 135 watt blackstar uv panel I use for super sweet tomatoes and other stuff. I wonder how these would stack up against other supplemental lighting as in would a decent flouro bulb be just as good or better for lighting up specific areas?
