Greetings all.
Just a little question that's been running through my head these last few days...
If the ideal humidity level changes throughout a plants life cycle, what's a happy medium to settle at for a perpetual grow?
I hadn't intended to run a perpetual but my first 6 weeks with indoor autos have thrown some proper curve balls.
I have a very stunted 5 week old Green Crack in full flower, a quite stunted 3 week old Northern lights that has just gone into flower & 2 one week old Gorilla seedlings that, fingers crossed, are in a better position that the pervious 2 were.
Temps are between 24c & 31c & I'm keeping the humidity on the higher side (60% - 75%) for the seedlings but obviously this isn't ideal for the flowing plants.
Any thoughts??

Not sure what to advise really? Personally if I was doing a perpetual grow I'd have 2 or 3 tent's setup to each environmental phase.
I follow the VPD chart as close as I can:

I guess if you need to keep all the gals in one tent all I'd suggest is put the young chicks under propagation domes (they'd have to be pretty big domes though). Then have the main tent set to around 50-55% for main veg/ flower.

@Chronic_ passion that's the same chart I looked at when I realised my initial error & invested in the humidifier... wish I'd spotted that during my pre-set up research :D The humidifier only has 2 settings, low & high, so I can't be very accurate anyway.
@archie space gemmill I'm guessing you have 3 - 5 plants at different stages in that space depending on strain? That seems like a good way to go if the RH can be kept at a happy medium. What sort of weight are you pulling per plant in that setup??

Mine is either on or off too. Grab yourself an INKBIRD IHC-200 humidity controller. I have my humidifier plugged into one and it maintains levels in the ideal zone.

inkbirds are a great tool for temps and humidity,i have the 308 for temps.
i run 3 different pot sizes,1L,3L,6L,prefare variety over quanity.between 1/2 and 1 oz/L :pass:
good luck n keep er lit
:pighug:
