Lighting i want to try leds

Hi folks i know it`s my first post but im not a noob to AFN i just lost my login details
(there in my head some where lol)
im thinking about trying a led light and im a little stuck on which one to get
i `ve got £200 to spend i was looking at a gn0004 or a blackstar 180w or prakasa
the blackstar is either a veg or a bloom the gn does both so does the prakasa
anyone got any advice please

What is the area of your grow space? Anything more than a 70cm x 50 cm space and the Blackstar 180 reaches its blooming limits. Not familiar with the other lights, got links?

once you use LED's you'll never go back..
that happen to me 3 months ago... change to blackstars UFo.. now i just added one more... they are very quite ... and less power ... results are good..

I have 2 GN ms006 and for 6 weeks I'm very happy with results so far but haven't completed a grow yet. Go check JTaNg's logs - he grows monsters with 7 GN units
If you go with GN mail Dan first and ask your questions - very helpful guy :thumbs:

Hay Nudd welcome to the site bro, I've a friend who tried a Prakasa and it wasn't to clever. You won't go wrong with a Blackstar or a Grownorthern unit bro both have been tried and tested on AFN with great results.

as i was saying the blackstar is either veg or bloom and as i want to grow autos and photo plants i need a light that is dual spec
my grow space is 28inch x21inch im using a mix of cfl and hid at the moment
if the new light (when i get it )is a little under powered for the grow cab can i add hid to boost it
i have a 70w hps and a 70w cmh

Hay man most fixed spectrum LED lights are tuned a little more to the flower phase but they still work great for veg,I've recently veged a 6ft photoperiod sativa under Grownorthern LED and most of my autos get to about 1m.

Heard of them but not seen any grows with them.
