New Grower I have a question Can you do greenhouse/outdoor hydro style?

So it has been a while since I have been here on the best community on the NET, but do to life I have been unable to grow for the last year or so as I have been back in Texas. But I am finally moving back to the emerald rectangle and will be starting my life's work again. This time I am thinking about doing something that I have never heard of anyone doing but I don't see why it can't be done.

I want to grow in a greenhouse but do it DWC hydro almost exactly like my previous Autoxtreme grow but instead of the 5 gallon buckets I want to use either 7 or 10 gallon trash cans.

With my previous grow I was able to, pretty successfully I might add lol, grow a full crop with 24hours of light. So with that in mind I intend to use a blend of the natural sun during the day and LED's at night.

I am probably going to bury the trash cans in the ground as well.

What are some of the problems do you think this could present, and most of all has anyone ever heard of someone doing Greenhouse/Outdoor Hydro?

Might be the way to go with keeping rez temps cool. How are you going to change out the rez every week?

Don't need to change out rez every week!

It will actually be a RWDC so I will have a pump and when I do a rez change I will just pump out the old and fill it up with some new after I clean the rezs

This is exactly what I was thinkin, except I am going to have LED's blazing through the night, and in the High Desert of Colorado Temperatures are not an issue in the traditional sense, I have plenty of cool air lol. I am going to have to actually put heaters in there to keep the temps up, butttt I am totally ok with that because I get the added benefit of CO2 so if all goes as planned I am going to have a RDWC, Greenhouse/LED with CO2 enrichment. I think I just might have some monsters

You will grow HUGE plants with heat and led supplementation. That sounds like a wicked idea to grow a D.P. 2lb plant

Yeah @Fairlynew I am planning on doing some big things(total pun intended lol) and @Mr ganjamoto already grew the 1000g AutoUltimate and so to tell you the truth I was thinking about it the other day and I think that will be the low end of what I expect to produce, I honestly think I can get them big enough to produce 2000 g's a piece or more. I have seen the way these DP Auto's grow and I just know that if I put my mad scientist hat on I will be able to do something special.

It is crazy because I have never really heard of anyone doing DWC outside or in a greenhouse, and I think the 8-10 hours of natural sunlight plus the 10-12 hours of badass LED's will set the standard as far as the yield potential of autoflowering cannabis plants, I am literally crawling out of my skin because I am not already back in CO doin my thing. But only about 30 days now and I will be back in the emerald rectangle starting on my lifes dream project

Damn....I do recall seeing an outdoor dwc grow that was quite successful, but for the life of me I cannot remember what site it was. Brother, if you beat out my photo weights with autos, I will bow down and declare you the King of growing!! Seriously!

Edit...did you ever find the outdoor greenhouse grow in Belgium I was talking about?
