For the breeders! And any other experienced folk. I understand vpd. But that aside. Are there certain strains that would like a hot and dry climate. Like low 80’s? Is it area dependent also? Me being In Southern California it should be easier to find statins that like that atmosphere no? Ty for your time

Probably search for a landrace that grows in that kind of climate.
Hot and Dry, then I would go for a Kush or Mazar and go from there.

I live in a very dry climate at a minute higher latitude, though I have colder summer nights here than you do. I like growing under lower humidity (seldom above 35% and usually lower).

Fast growing sativas seem to dry out faster, so I just stick them in larger pots and they usually stay happy. Not sure if this helps because that's all I've got.

I can tell you that Bumblebud and Black Widow don't like humidity that low but I never met a cannabis strain that didn't like the 80s.

The thing about low humidity, at least in my limited experience, is fewer pests but that might just be me.
