Im all backwards i need help im gonna post pics of my plants lol my shit is pathetic i know, so lol with me and not at me. A lil background i just retired for the US Army i suffer from a unbelievable list of ailments all sustained serving this great country. Anyone that knows the VA systems knows they love to prescribe anything and everything with no regard for human life, its not that bad lol but if you take everything they give you w/o knowing the iterations your screwed cause they dont keep track or care. For about 2 years ive been on about 12 diff meds daily as soon as i got out and cashed my first retirement check i decided to grow my own meds. But im having no luck, my grow house is a Sea Of Dead. i planted 5 Himalayan blue diesels im pretty sure what went wrong i was out of town and asked someone to water them. They decide to "help" me out and use Miracle Grow fert on them, the plants might have been 8 days old :[. I saved one but im wondering if it was worth it. Its severly stunted and at a month old about a inch tall lmao maybe 2 and to make matters worse im pretty sure its flowering it has browning pistils. Is this normal for so young even if it is a auto? ANd can i do anything with this limited time? Also i started a 2nd batch they are about a week and a half most are looking good but some are slow growing and the base leaves on a few are dead. Help please i just wanna roll up something i grew, thanx in advance i know this is full of typos and its long as hell. This is for personal only i dont really care about huge yields but i dont wanna spend another 100$ on seeds to have only 1 make it.

You could enter that one with pistols in the plant of the month.Seriously you might have the record for the smallest flowering auto. They don't look that bad, just wait awhile and see what they do.

Well... first...

let me say thank you for serving our country.... and i do understand how shitty the VA can be.... sorry for your troubles after risking life and limb for us.... this is messed up... but I wont get going on my upset and anger with our politicicians and "so-called" leaders...

Yes... 8 days is very early for a friend to "HELP" you with MG... however they dont look bad at all... they might be ok... i'd advise dropping that Miracle Grow ASAP and pick up a line line Fox farms or seomthig organic... the falvor is way better and the grow potential is better.... and ultimately... you dont want chemicals of any type in your system especially with the issues you have...

that said... you should pick up a ph meter ASAP... a good one... like a hannah 98129 (has replaceable probe for when it goes bad... and it will eventually... they always do... 2-3 years i think on that one)

ph vs uptake.gif

the 2 more stuny lookin ones look like ph issues... i see you are using Fox farm.. so please disregard my lack of reading....

I will say peat has a tendency to swing lower ph's over time... although its not a bad medium....

another handy tool is a ph soil test meter.. (like rapidtest are cheap but they work)
dont cheap on the water meter tho... trust me... throwin good money after bad... :toke:

strips or aquarium fluid work fine for now if you dont have the $$$

so... I'd figure out what your ph is... you can water with water you've tested the ph on... and catch the runoff out of the pot... and measure that to determine where your soil is in general...

hope this helps.... and welcome to AFN!

thank you JM?? Namvet im just gonna roll the whole thing haha roots and all hope i dont go blind or anything

also... heres a chart as a general feed guideline for autos...

what i mean is that not all autos are the same lol
I have been growing the same genetic line for over a year now
and they all seem like they really like my fert schedule.

This is what i doi break it down as follows

First off let me talk about what i use as ferts. I have a 4 part system that i use and most of this is in the brain so please bare with me as i share this one.

I use FF grow big (hydro formula) Tiger Bloom and then two tea variations. One is high in N for veg and the other is high in Phosphorus when its time to flower.
I apply these through out the grow. I use the FF to get it started.
then i move to the teas and then back to the FF and then back to the teas

So i break it down like this:
FF GB is 3Tbsp/1Gal for heavy feedings. So in my mind this is more than enough for our fave friends. So it states that 2tbsp/1gal is for normal feedings so i use this as my base number. After that i break it down into 1/4

at 7 days i start like this
Day 7 1/4 dose to a gal
Day 14 1/2 dose to a gal + 8oz of N rated tea
Day 21 1tsp GB and then 1/4 of TB (bringing in the TB)
Day 28 1/2 TB + 8oz of Phosphorus rated tea
Day 35 1.5 tsp TB to a gal
Day 41 2tsp of TB and 8oz of Phosphorus rated tea
Then Flush till finish unless it needs something at the end.

I think that this is everything that i do like i said i am not sure as this is all in my head. If the plants demand more that i give more this is just something to go by. I usually do not swap in clean water feedings at all over the fert program. I just use the jug then its gone. Now if i start to see over feeding or lockouts ill flush.
But if i keep my water on point i never usually see a lock out or toxicity.

Hope this helps

lol... well i think your friend really "helped" stunt your plants... autos cant take too much food too early... they are kinda sensitive the first couple weeks...

and MG is on my "seek and destroy" list... lol

I really hate that company for promoting their commercial BS... but thats a personal thing... lol

:smokeit:

Roll that shit up lets get ripped!!!!!! :crying:

Yeah that MG was for my new pepper plants i never intended to use fert on my ladies. Thats why i never bought a ph tester i thought since the soil out the bag allegedly feeds for like 2 months id be good. i didnt wanna complicate my 1st grow but i see the faults in my reasoning. Maybe ill get something to eventually light from one of my 2 weekers (with forum help lol). on the plus side my habenero plant is looking good haha

and MG is on my "seek and destroy" list... lol

UGH! I went to the local garden center to get a few bags of awesome local potting soil only to find EVERYTHING replaced by MG. Got a lot of weird looks shaking their chain link fence and yelling. Fucking cheap assholes.

Damn JM i did a little research and nobody really has anything nice to say about MG thanks for that heads up im not gonna use the soil or the fert on any of my household plants or my vegetables outside. Thanx

Wow I was completely lost lol after a lot more reading and the shame of my fully flowered 2 inch plant, I havent destroyed anymore of Stiches work haha. The plants I thought I ruined turned out ok thanks to everyones help ill put up a few pics. This will be my 1st successful grow and I only used molasses after I saw the 1st plant stay the size of a 50cent piece. I recognize my errors now and learned alot this grow im 100% sure i could have gotten bigger yeilds but the more important than yeilds I have my first grow under my belt. I had fun and I have lots of medicine :] The reason I came back to this is not b/c i wanted to share my grow techs, (IMO I will consider myself noobish until im a creator of a strain <high hopes...get it>) but to be honest about a few mistakes i made hopefully i can help some ppl out. So time to embarrass myself one more time with:

CJ SOMA's Guide to FCKing up EVERYTHING
(Mistakes I Made)

10. Checking/Harassing my ladies every 5 mins. (IDK the exact science behind it but Ive heard and also think that to much attention can stress you and your ladies)
9. I didnt have my lights on a timer the first couple weeks so anytime i left town my plants either went 24hrs of light or 0 hours. (For sure your babies benefit from a game schedule)
8. I dont know how many times I dropped my Iphone or some heavy object on my babies and had a heart attack cause I broke leaves. (Moral of this is keep your hobby area clear so u can move around without damaging anything)
7. Dont go cheapo/off brand on the nutes, soil, or lights. (Sub-par tools will get sub par results, this is not always true if you have a good grasp on what your doing but in the beginning IMO its safer to use known brands and techniques)
6. Keep it quite. (This means 2 things most important dont tell anyone about your new project you will be surprised how some ppl react to this news and even more suprised when someone you didnt tell comes and ask you how your ladies are doing. The 2nd part to that is if your space is indoors and you have more than 4 plants plan on the smell filling your house if not vented somehow. I personally freaked out when i came home from a late movie and while on my front porch fumbling with the door keys was greeted by the aroma of Stiches best work. Only had 5 HBDs)
5. Continue to Read, Read, Read. (Improvements on nutes, techniques, and strains will continue to be made and you will find yourself out of the network* haha if you dont diligently try to improve)
4. Keep a photo and written journal. (You can fix alot and get better advice with details. Its so hard to troubleshoot when you have medication in your system and your tryin to remember the last feed or water day)
3. Dont have the mind frame more is better. (Ive over watered, and over-Neemed my girls thinking ehh just a teaspoon more will make things happen faster)
2. Dont stress. (PATIENCE, FUN, AND INCREASE IN SKILL IMO are the most important things to take away from any grow mistakes. They will always be made you just have to walk away more knowledgeable. The O Shit! moments are the best teachers)
1. Before I even thought of buying seeds or building my growbox i was cautioned against most of the things i did wrong, but the excitment of wow im actually growing can cause a guy to forget everything he just learned my last piece of advice is get your questions answered by the right ppl before something goes wrong. And if it happens remember my 2nd lil piece of advice.

Hope this helps at least one guy not have my headaches. Feel free to add to it, edit it or move it. JM can you help me out with a Disclaimer lol. I dont grow cannabis or do anything illegal so no need to fly helicopters over my house on "Mars"
