New Grower HYDROGEN fuel cell bubbler..

Hi guys..

Iv got a little question for you all..

The past few years I have messed around with hydrogen fuel cells, I was wondering if my plant in dwc would benifit from having Hydrogen pumped into the res? I know plants need hydrogen to grow but is there maximum/optimum amount of dissolved hydrogen the plants can use?

obviously, I wouldnt want to pump too much in there as it is highly explosive..

I love the idea.... I was thinking of pumping oxygen to the roots myself... with something similar... but I never thought about the hydrogen.... try it and let us know? Dont blow yourself up!!! :smokebuds:

You never know it could be the future of growing ill try on my Next grow, im gonna do two pots so I'll compare...

Iv also had another idea bugging me, I have thought of what I belive to be a new grow method..

Im gonna call it "active bubbler".. My thoughts are to create a res that is full of bubbles, I just need a plant safe way of making bubbles that hold nutrient. Something like bubble bath but plant safe..

Once I find this ingredient I will have 60ml of solution in bottom of bucket, airstone producing bubbles and constantly filling whole res up with nutrient+air rich bubbles..

Just need a bubble making plant safe ingredient?

What you reckon??

hmmmm... sounds similar to "fog" but minus the fogger... sounds a little less susceptiple to "power off" issues.... I like it!

maybe a touch of Castile soap.... but thats going to swing your ph... if you could get it compensated for... might work... maybe experiment with a resevoir and the soap and ph first... then wehn you get that dialed... try growing in it... :thumbs: love your ideas mate! we love live experiments here!!!!

I'm very excited to hear about your hydrogen or HHO gas technique... pleas keep us informed!!!

It's a field I've been stdying intensly myself... along with many other "free energy" techniques....

If it works I think it would be a good idea.. Ill try a few bubbling ingredients and start a thread if I get anywhere.. I started making fuel cells years ago, way before they started putting them in cars.. I Have seen the meyers cell, its one of many designs iv tried. Iv just designed a new model capable of pushing out over 10litres per minute, its going to be my biggest yet. Just need funding, everything is so expensive now days...

If it works in the dwc pot and only small amounts of hydrogen are needed it could easily be made into a commercial unit.. for my experimental run I will make an adjustable cell that puts out no more than 1 litre per hour.. Got to be safe!!


There must be away of making bubbles without adjusting ph and ec..? Cmon guys??

Anobody reading this should also know that hydrogen is explosive!! its a rocket fuel!! Be careful: )

iv had a little time to experiment today and im realising I might have a use for the fuel cell!!

When cell is up and running in water it pushes ph level up to crazy numbers( from 7.0 upto 9.3 ph) obviously there is alot more ph "potential hydrogen" availible in the water..

The part im now seeing as useful is when I take the cell out of water and all the micro hydrogen bubbles have gone the ph level has dropped!!

Could this be the new way to ph down without adding acid??! It doesnt seem to effect ec..

Next test will be to see if just the hydrogen pumping through water(not cell in water) effects ph or ec..
