Hey everyone. First time indoor run. I have two autos in a 2x2
For a while my humidity was fine. But now I’m about day 45 and the humidity after I water goes up to 75-80. Which I know is too much. And I really don’t want PM!!
My house isn’t humid.
I’m running a budget LED, growing in fox farm soil. have a 4” inline with carbon filter set up. Small clip on fan and another fan at the bottom of my tent to circle the air.

Any suggestions on how to get that humidity down???

Thanks y’all!

Make sure your carbon filter isn’t clogged up, and your exhaust is turned all the way up. Other than that, de-humidifier or bigger exhaust would also do the trick.

by increasing airflow you can bring the tent down to ambient rh,if ya need to go lower its a de humidifer i think
good luck n keep er lit
:pighug:

If you choose the desumidifier route,i just got very small one from Amazon withyà Vivosun branding.I have a 2x4 tent with 3 plants in coco.
Rh did went down a bit but not much and i think it's too small for a serious rh problem.Could be ok for 2x2 maybe but i will put something more powerful next time.
But in a 2x2,space is an issue also...

Where are you checking rH? If your meter is at pot level, it's normal to rise when watered, then drop back off. If your checking at canopy... dehumidifier or open the tent up.

Good point! I’m checking right at ground level, not canopy. So does make sense it’s higher. The issue is it stays up for like 24-36 hours which I feel like is no good.Even with fun running and filter running high. I unfortunately don’t have any space for dehumidifier. I think cracking my door is going to be the best option.

Several steps, not just one solution ....

Soil grow ..... so put some mulch, straw best, over the soil to help slow evaporation .....

Dehumidify the room and crack bottom of door if possible ..... Your outside room air will be low humidity and bring in fresh room air will help ...... Get a room size dehumidifier .....

For the tent you can get small rechargeable jobs like these and put inside tent but check around for best one(s) - I would go with two for sure .......

Amazon product

Worse case keep door open more if outside air is good and box fan blowing towards, circulation is key!

Good luck,
