I have an inkbird hooked up to my fan and humidifier. However, being a small tent, I'm struggling to keep humidity high enough. When the fan is running a lot due to the light it sucks out all the moisture. It wasn't so bad this summer but with the home furnace running it's a struggle. 2x2 tent 600w LED. Replacing tent or light isn't a thing right now. I'm on my 3rd grow and feel it's been going well.

Any suggestions on a humidifier that also cools?

That's how growing is it seems...just have to deal with swings of parameters that will eventually affect your plants and we all deal with it. Sometimes it makes a big difference, sometimes not.
Dealing with our high humidity in summers is manageable but low humidity winters are a challenge. The old wet towel will help but damn all the work....
Here in the southern usa, we can always count on changes often.....

I use ultrasonic humidifiers to keep humidity in the 60s in a vented tent.
During the winter it might take two in a basement 3 x 3 ft tent.
Top fill is by far the most convenient.
These are my favorites, and I've tried about a dozen different ones:

Some right angle fittings can be used to blow fog into a tent from outside the tent.
I have a couple humidifiers sitting on the top shelf of a wire shelving unit blowing fog thru upper tent portholes.

It gets so dry here in the summer we actually have zero RH on some days. It is a real battle to keep the space above 40%. This is what I use:

Thank you! I'm passing this on to my techy partner. :thanks:

I use an AIRCARE 6 gallon to humidify the whole room to 60% so tent intake air is always humidified. Then it's just a matter of managing my heat. It's too hard fighting humidity in the tent when intake air is really dry and easier to manage the humidifier outside the tents

Ultrasonic humidifiers need to be run with distilled water or you will get the "white dust" effect. A large ultrasonic can push mosisture into the air beyond the physical limit of RH.

We all have CPAP machines so distilled water is on hand. I didn't know about white dust.

Yeah, it's nothing harmful just the minerals and dissolved solids in the water. Makes a small mess but just one of those things with the ultrasonics.

The evaporatives wont do that but they are literally just a bucket and fan design. I picked up the honeywell hcm-710 since it can be filled from the top without taking anything apart. It has a wick inside that is a consumable and it will get gross over time, hence needing replacement. I see newer versions of the wick come with an anti-microbial filter style addition. I'm too old to be fooling around with carrying filled humidifier reservoirs and not spilling them.

This guy i just dump water in the top. Easy! I have mine running off an inkbird controller as well. However, being "winter"-ish here the air is 45% so its been running constantly but able to keep my 2x2 tent at 65-70%. If you have a larger space the ultrasonic might do a better job.

EDIT: Mine was $45 on amazon but it looks like they've crept up to $60. I think direct is still cheaper
