Lighting Hps or mh

If auto just want to grow wouldn't it be better to use a mh bulb .hps info all about 12/12 and red but won't autos take any light they can get .and the 12/12 is all about photo plants .or does the red really matter to autos as well

For flower,use hps
Veg metal halide. 12 12 for photos 20 4 for autos .

If it was one or the other, you'd be much better off with an HPS that has some extra blue. I used to grow all my photoperiod plants under HPS and the veg stage was superlative. Also since auto flowers spend most of their time flowering why would you want to use an MH?
