Lighting HPS light bulb question

Hello everyone I need a little help can anyone tell me if all HPS bulbs will work with a magnetic ballast or do I have to buy one made just for a Magnetic Ballast. Thanks also where is a good place to buy bulbs I found a Ipower bulb for $15.95 but haven't heard much about this brand and also it didn't say magnetic or digital ballast. I need to get the best bulb I can without spending a lot of $ so if you can help it will be greatly appreciated.

a bulb is a bulb, they don't differ per ballast, E-bay just remember you get what you pay for.. The 400 i got is I-power the bulb is doing well if you ask me. it add this,I know it's a mh. but if you link to it there is HPS also..

Lowes has them, but they cost a good bit there.
