How does everyone determine which method to use? Top, LST, or both? Does plant structure factor in determining which method? I am growing the following: (all Mephisto)

CDLC
Double Grape
Ripleys OG
Super Orange Haze
Strawberry Nuggets
Toof Decay

here they are at day 13, so a decision needs to be made soon. Please help educate me.

I’ll be following this one.

Also where did you get the Strawberry Nuggets? I’ve been wanting to add these beans to my inventory but can’t find any At the moment.

Hey there. I’ve got a Strawberry Nuggets going right now. Broke ground on 9/11 and she’s going way bigger than I imagined going by the Mephisto description.

Can’t remember exactly when I topped her, it’s in my ongoing thread. But it was around the 5th or 6th node maybe around day 18?

She’s got BEEFY stems and stalk and doesn’t like to be bent much. But she can be a little bit when she’s smaller. Although she would bounce right back up. I install grommets on all my pots and am just using those on her now to get her canopy as wide as possible.

That is the kind of info I was looking for. You got a pic?

I usually top first, then LST. I sort of reversed on Nugs since she didn’t seem to want LST much. If memory serves, I wasn’t going to top her since they’re supposed to remain “compact”. But she didn’t like being bent, so I topped after all to bush her out.
