I'm on day six just wondering when can I had some veg nutes to my plant thanks for any input!

I try to not feed any nutes till they show sex mate, but if the look hungry after a week or two ill maybe give a light feed,1/4 strength.

That depends on your medium and what strain mostly. If you are starting in something like Promix, Sunshine mix, FoxFarms Light Warrior or Jiffy seed starter mix(and you should be with soil IMO), then the general rule of thumb is about 12 days or so. But like red eyed said you just gotta watch them and start with light doses when you do. Some strains are more tolerable to nutes, in the amount used at how early, and some strains will start to sex around then too or up to 20 or more days even. Hope this helps.

Thanks RedEyeC, SquidHerb good ish bro I'm growing in some organic soil it has fir bark, peat moss, sand and perlite (does not contain any human or animal waste!) and the strains I'm using are PurpleJems, MagicDragon bro the nutes are floraNova grow and floraNova bloom:wiz:

Sand is no bueno for herb. It compacts easily and just generally isn't used. Do you have something else you are planning to start your seeds in for the first few weeks? I know Durrty Dragons are a little nute sensitive so I am gonna say that Magic are too, but I am not certain, and I believe the PJs aren't as sensitive.

Oh isee there is hardly any sand at all bro all I see is the perlite ihave the magic and jems on day six looking really good iwish my phone would let me add photos damn(samsung galaxy ll) thanks squid you always on point bro

No problem man. If its just a little you'll probably be fine. I've never used sand I just know that it isn't good in large amounts for sure. Yeah pics would be nice. Good luck man green karma your way, mate! Just don't over water and don't feed until around 2 weeks., give or take.

Hey man,

can you install tapatalk in your smartphone? It's the program I use in my iPhone to upload pics.

Regarding the feeding, hum, perhaps I'm not an example dude, but I don't use a soil-less mix. I like to use a rich soil on my grows (BioBizz AllMix). I'm definitely not against soil-less but you'll have to use more nutes along the way to compensate for the soil-less.

That said :) I start to give them energisers like humic acids and kelp in low dosages (1/2) at the first set of true leafs: that's around day two or three. It will boost they're grow and get them strong. I start my liquid feedings of grow nute at 1/4 strength around the 10th day (give or take). I never remove kelp and humic acids out of the feedings.

Good gardening

Thanks Squid another great session lol:crying:@Hugo isure will bro ima download it now thanks for your input ijust fed them last night no nute burn :wiz:
