I have been using trio and am wondering once you mix your nutes how much do you give each plant? Water until runnoff with it or just saturate the soil? A quart or a half gallon what are you guys doing?

This is how I do it , I have my own organic soil , so what I do is water to a little bit of run off and see how long for the plant to uptake the runoff , then add a litle bit more , wait 10 min and see what is left , taking note on the amount of water used , you may have to add more or less , but remember the plant will use more as time goes by . It is a little bit of trial and error , but once you get the hang of it you will not have to worry about it .

I figure 10 to 15% of the mass of the pot. For instance, a 3 gallon pot is 12 quarts, so I water around 1.5 quarts. I've got 7 gallon pots outdoors this summer and I've been watering 4 quarts at a time.

As Hecno said, the bigger the plants get, the more water they need. I've gone from once a week in the 7 gallon pots to every other day, due to their size.
