I have to ask... Is 132 watts CFL´s enough for growing 6-8 seedlings? I am going to cultivate them indoors for three weeks until they show sex, and then i am putting them outdoors.

100 watts of the total 132 are 2700K´s. Exept for one that are a 30 watts 6000K bulb. I calculated it and it´s 16,5 watts each.

Here´s a pic of the closet i am going to grow the seedlings. I will have it open most of the time but when someone comes to visit i will have to close the door, and put the bureau back over the door. The ventilation is going to bad. I will use a regular tablefan for vent.

Maybe i have to put my 250w CFL in the closet too? I have two of those, but they are big and heavy.

/H.

Hey man. You'll need more of the veg spectrum 6400k for the first stage, but that wattage seems fine for that many seedlings for the first few weeks.

Ok, but i have ordered a E40 socket, with lampcord. So now they are going to have 280w 6400K total. And about 100 w 2700K´s total.
Maybe that is too much? Too hot? And then i am going to have them in the window as much as i can also. And i don´t want to chock them with going from standing under 380w CFL (which generates a lot of heat) to the window where it is kind of cold compared to the closet.

Can this be a problem?

If you're just growing them for a few weeks then outside I would use just 6400k and not that many. Maybe just 200 watts of 6400k only. Gotta keep those temps in check. Especially if you're gonna put them in the window any. They need to gradually have a few hours sunlight everyday to harden them before going outside so that is a good idea.

Ok, thank you. :) I was thinking that also. If i should just put in my 250w CFL. And maybe with a reflektor? I have 3-4 different reflectors, but the one i use for the big CFL´s is kind of heavy.
It is this one: http://www.norfolklights.com/powerplant-sunmate-grow-cfl-reflector-p-2306.html

I was just thinking if i can hang the cord in the ceiling and hang it like a MH-buld maybe?

But i have a scrawny looking too. I don´t know if it can hold up the buld. If not i maybe will have to tie it up or something.
This is how it looks: http://search.babylon.com/imageres....w&h=309&w=283&q=stucco reflector&babsrc=SP_ss

I wouldn't go with anything that might allow the light to fall on the plants. Use the best one that fits into your space.
