New Grower how many plants per light

I am growing 60 day wonder, i have 3 in soil under a 250 hps in a space that is a meter by a metre . This is my second grow and i want to increse the yield. Will it take another plant?

OR if i get another 250hps and extend a metre i could i fit another 3 (and maybe an extra one)

SO would 7 plants under 2x 250 lights surrounded by mylamar sheeting have enough light?

I am using the sylvana grolux light and i am told that this does for veg and flower. Is there any advantage to getting a different bulb for the last stages, ie flowering.

I wish i could go into my hydro shop with these questions (and a couple more i have) but in the UK you cannot ask any questions regarding cultivation.

250w HPS / 3 plants = 83w. That works fine. You can add more light and plants if the temp is fine. We have summer soon here in Europe..

If adding more plants your air circulation will be affected and temp will rise.

I don't have a tent, its a set up in the corner of a room, so temprature is no problem. I usually open the window and put a fan on a couple of times a day. I am going to adjust the central heating to ? what it the rough temps i should aim at.

somewhere around 25-27c lights on, and 18-20c lights off.

And if you want to up your yield you should really get a smaller place for your plants. In a smaller place the light will be far more effective and it will be more easy to control temps and humidity.

60 cm x 120. Those little two fifty hps lamps work the best in a 60 x 60 area inside a grow tent or cab. They get much better growing power when the light is being reflected back into that small footprint. Also, be aware that those three plants will be stinking up your whole house, possibly out to the sidewalk out front when they mature. Have you planned for that?

Thanks , I have sorted the smell on my first grow so no problem, there are 3 doors before the front door and i am 3 stories high. So if i make the space 60x60 and add another 250 hps i should be ok for 6 plants?

no, one 60 x 60 for one 250 light. 120x60 for two 250 lights. I'd go for six plants under the two in 120 x 60.

OK i got it, 2x 250 lights in 120x60 and six plants. I also have 3 small plants (3-4 inches)n which will go on the balcony in the next few weeks, is it ok to put them by the lights untill then? at the moment they are in the living room untill the weather warms up. Finally will i get a bigger yield with another light. I have a 250 grolux sylvana hps which i am told will do from start to finish.
