Whatsup yall. I am using an opulent systems tent that's supposed to be 3x3x5.5 feet. It's actually smaller than advertised on the 3x3 part...it's like 2'8 feet I think. I originally only had a mars ts600 or whatever (100 watt) so I was only growing 2 plants in 3 gallon pots.

I just added a spider farmer sf1000 (also 100 watt). I decided to increase to 5 gallon pots at the same time. Right now I have two seedlings in 5 gallon pots and I'm wondering if that's gonna be all I can fit in that space when they're mature or if I could get away with another plant. If so, should I do a 3 or 5 gallon pot?

Thanks in advamce!

I have a 3x3x6 and had 4 going in 3 gallon pots. But I had 2 led lights in the tent. I also used a Platinum P300 and a solar flare 220. It can be done. A little cramped though

Ok thanks. So maybe if I do one more just in a 3 gallon it won't get too bad. I just dunno how big they'll get in the 5s and dunno if the canopy is gonna run outta space

not sure but I would make sure to start new seeds about a month before you harvest to lessen the down time between harvest. I personally would get on a schedule that allowed me to start a new seed every 2 weeks or so, maybe less, that way you harvest a plant every 2 weeks but I don't think many people do that

Yea I'm thinking start one about a month or 2 into the life of current plants too. I'd like to get to one a month but doubt I have the space lol and just started two at the same time before I decided that lol

I’ve runned 4 plants in 5 gallon but 3 5 gallons pots is a better fit. It all depends on size of plants as well. I got a fc3000 in a 2.7x2.7 tent

3-4 sounds good man, depending on how you plan on topping/training

I have done 4 in 5gal and 2 in 5gal + 4 in 1gal in my 2x2. Personally unless you're planning on doing a ton of training, I would stick to 2. For a 2x2 tent I wouldn't really recommend going over 5-10gal of soil volume at a time, with 5gal being more ideal. Space will very quickly become an issue, even with intensive training. You can take a peep at my journals if you'd like to get an idea of what I mean lol. I'm to the point now where cramming the 2x2 full is way more hassle than its worth.
