Harvest & Curing How long does it take to finish flowering purple jems

Hi iv got some Lowryder purple jems F7 Mazar x Lowryder,its just over 8 weeks old now, and the ticks are still looking milky white, im hopeing they be amber soon, but how long can they go for as i do not wont to cut them to soon it say Flowering Time: Medium,which i thought was 8 weeks form seed,anymore infor be helpfull

You're about there. I typically harvest my lowryder strains in the 60 day window....milky trics are my fav with lr strains.....
 
I know the breeders like to say 60 days from seed, but seems most are more like 60 days from preflower. I'm guessing you still have a week or two.

Have to agree with ya bro, i take my jem's at 9.5 to 10 weeks to get a good amber to milky ratio. Hasn't failed me yet and seems to stay that way through the generations
 
10 weeks for a lot of the indica AF strains is about right for that milky/amber balance..
It depends how you like your smoke of course.. but i normally wait until they look done and give them another week on plain water.
