I put mine on a plate and cover with a paper towel (so dust and such dont get on them) for 2 weeks at normal room temp(75-76F or so), then put then in small ziplock bags with a small piece of paper towel to make sure they stay dry then place that inside a jar, store in my cold room that stays a constant 63-64F for long term storage...after 4 more weeks in storage they can be used no problem... using this method I get 10/10 germ rates 95+% of the time, and they last for years...
now a few tips I have learned that may help you out...
for single branch pollination I separate out the males when I'm ready to pollinate I place my male top in a zip lock bag and shake it around for 10sec or so it will be full of pollen then I take my girl and place the bag over one limb zipping it up to the stem and give it a few good shakes take the bag off after 1 min. DO NOT leave it on any longer... now you have 1 limb seeded and the rest of the plant not...
let the seeds about fall from the buds before you take them even if you have to cut the rest down and just leave the seeded limb that way you know there fully mature when you pick them, also let them dry in the bud there in... after the bud is dried then you can remove them a lot easier and I think germ rates are higher, something about them drying more natural then pulling them out of wet bud... anyway good luck with your seed project...
