hi guys. i am a silent reader of this forum for the past months...actually you were one of the reasons i chose to grow autos this time. it's my third grow now. :D:D anyway. great work here. i think autos have a lot of bright future in the world of cultivation..

now about my girls.. there are 6 autos in soil. (3 in 14lt/3,9gal pots and 3 in 18ltr/4,7gal pots)
Snowstorm, diesel ryder, auto mazaar, bubblelicious, fast bud, speed devil. all feminized
they are all together in a dark room 90x90x180, with a 400 HPS philips dual,(20/4 light schedule), fan rvk 125mm(325 m3) clip fans e.t.c my temps are kind of cold. 22-23c with the lights on and 19-22c with lights off. humidity is always beetween 50-70%
i use BIOBIZZ ALLMIX soil and biobizz nutes.(grow,bloom,rootjuice). we are at day 16 and they seem small to me..i look everyday for pics from same strains and same age and i think they are smaller than they should be. especially bubblelicious is at day 15 and it's really small. i haven't feed them anything yet just water and rootjuice. i use tap water which i leave it in the bottle 2 days for the chlorine..

for the first 2 weeks their light was 210 watt cfl 6500k . i'm planning switch to hps in 2-3 days. the only one i think it's normal in size is the snowstorm.what do you think??? can this kind of low temps cause stunted growth?another issue i think i have is that the tent is inside a room that we live.(and smoke:D)of course the room gets plenty of fresh air during the day...

Day 16 under CFL's? I can't speak for anyone else but I'd be happy with that. They look pretty happy if nothing else. Good growing man.

If you'd come along and said they were under a 400w MH bulb for the first 2 weeks.. maybe I'd be worrying a bit.. but under CFL's not bad at all in my opinion. Especially the one in the bottom left corner.

Sometimes different strains take longer to get going than others too. Your temps aren't too bad. Pretty close to ideal in fact. It's a small swing between day/night and you haven't dropped below 19c.. so.. I can't see how that would be causing stunted growth.

Get em under the hps. They'll get down to business straight away.

:peace:

i didn't want to start them under hps. i read (i asked too!)that is better for them less light for the first weeks. i don't care if they take longer to finish.if this is a con when using cfls.

yeah.i think they look healthy.just small.(in my eyes:D) but again. it's my first autos so i don't have anything to compare except others grows. tnx a lot for the interesting BB.

They really dont look that bad .If your not going to go hps for awhile you might want to lower the lights a little maybe six to eight inches from the tops but not to close to brn them. I dont know centigrade temps but I found that mine do best around 80 degrees farinheight.Iwould start them on a week solution of veg nutes with higher nitrogen content at every watering, but don't over water them.

my lamps are 3 inches over the middle ones and 5-6 from the rear ones... i think it's fine. i am planning to switch to hps in 2-3 days. tnx for your answer man.

Sorry, from the picture the lights looked farther away.Anyway carry on.

Yeah for younglings (under 10 days from showing leaves) the CFL is better for them hands down.. but after a week or so they can handle HID's fine. The reason most people won't use the HID until week 3 or 4 is because its basically a waste of electricity because little plants can't absorb a lot of light yet.

If they were mine I'd whack em under the hps now cos I reckon they can use more light than the CFL can give em.

Good luck fella. You're doing good so far. :peace:

i opened a thread with my journal... help is needing!!!!! tnx for the answers. see you there.
