This conversation helps me a lot fellas. I am about to run my first set of autos indoors and am sto a lil confused. I’m using roots original and have their nute line as well. Am I suppose to mix my RO with another medium? If I just use RO will they burn? Do I add nutes like Schulz suggest with fresh soil? How do I follow the feeding schedule when it is for photos? Any insight is appreciated. Thx

Roots organic has enough available food for at least a few weeks. You do not need to mix it with any other medium. It states on the the bag that it is "ready for use". The plants will not burn, unless something is added to burn them... Im not sure who Shultz is, or why they would suggest adding nutes to fresh soil.. The recommendation for feeding would be to start and 1/4th of the suggested amounts, and gradually work up to 1/2 strength as the plant matures.

Thank you proph, I meant schedule not Shultz. Damn autocorrect. Any insight on the feeding schedule? Roots feeding schedule is for photos. What would the autos schedule look like?

Also, I have a question about RO water. If using roots organics original do I not have to worry about Ph at all,or is that just super soil?

Your experience is greatly appreciated. Thx

Old mate , Unless you have grown organic before ,save yourself a lot of grief and spent some time in the organic section . You will learn a lot of basics and the digger you deep the more you will understand .

Very easy to use and all that I have been using. Great for starting seeds or clones also. I use their dry nutrients and have found the player pack the best way to go. The instruction manual is in the box. The player pack is about 60 bucks and lasts for many grows. I use Ro water-rain water or distilled and have never PHed anything. I do add cal-mag.
