Hi all

Hoping for help regarding when to harvest. It's a Frosted Guava (by Mosca Seeds), which is supposed to be a 70 day auto (seed to harvest). Below are pics from day 50. The trichomes on the main cola look pretty milky but the buds still seem like they need more time to mature.

Any thought on what you would do?

I have never personally grown an auto that finished (by my def.) less than 70 days FWIW. Some breeders are more accurate on chop times than others (never grown Mosca so IDK). You need to see more pistil retraction. Trichs look cloudy but that's just one pic and looked like sugar leaf more than bud tissue. Check back in 2 weeks. IMHO, YMMV, etc.

Breeder finish times are usually a dead medium depending on style of grows and genetics.

Mine was suppose to be a 70 day finisher as well, or at least thats what I have found. Not much info on it. But as of right now im on day 82, sugar leaves are cloudy and amber but at least 40% on the buds themselves are clear.

Lots of people say to look at trichs on the actual calyxs of the bud not the sugar leaves as they mature first. I snip a small piece off and look at it that way. Be careful though I thought a couple branches were close a couple weeks ago and they were absolutely not.
