Problem:
I noticed a couple holes on a leaf a few days ago. The same leaf now has more holes and now another two leaves have a few small holes. Only seeing this problem on one plant.

Edit: These are exterior leaves which hang outside the pot so not touching soil.

I laid down a couple yellow sticky traps 2 days ago and have given the plant a couple inspections with a flash light and a 10x magnifying glass.

No sign of any visible critters so far.

Medium/grow method:
Indoor soil grow. Kind Soil layered under Roots Organic Original.

Feed: and supplements used:
No nutes. Water only. Supplementing with Real Growers Recharge.

water source:
Filtered tap water PH’d to between 6.4-6.7 with citric acid.

Strain/age:
Mephisto Forum Stomper. 24 days from sprout.

light used:
HLG 100

Climate:
Mid 70’s - Low 80’sF. Humidity 50-60% RH.

Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!

I have this same issue. I put down yellow sticky traps also. Have no evidence to what is eating the leaves. No droppings, no webbings. Nothing.

Also not sure what to do next. Remove the plant from my garden? The other plants are doing fine so far. I thought of spraying with a alcohol water mixture. But tempted to trash it.

I was going to add pics but it looks like yours.

Yeah, if you google “holes in leaves, no bugs” a ton of posts on cannabis sites come up without a lot of good guesses as to the culprit.

I guess I’m going to just keep an eye on it and give it a thorough once over every day.

I’m in preflower now, but don’t know how I feel about some pest eradication methods.

Some people use Spinosad and others recommended “Nuke Em” which is citric scid and yeast enzymes. I’m leaning towards the later as I gather commercial cultivators use it in well into flower and still pass lab tests.

Yeah, I am clueless. I've isolated the bad plant. I may spray it with an alcohol water mixture in a Hail Mary attempt to save it and then toss it if it doesn't help.

My main concern is it spreading to the other girls. With no clue to what it is, I'm helpless to defeat it.

Yeah same here. luckily I have a 2nd tent with some seedings, so keeping the suspect plant quarantined from my other mature plants.

Let me know how any treatment goes. I will post any results if my attempts fail or succeed. Good luck bud

Recharge is good stuff! But it's only an inoculant with a few extra goodies, not a nute at all,....
Damage looks physical... anything drop or smack the leaves? Some bugs may do this too, at least the holes; earwigs, beetles, are a possibility and they will dine and hide well! Sticky traps on soil surface and around the pot base may snag the fuckers, if any,...

Earwigs! Thanks Waira! I seen some of those! Never on a plant but close to the area.

I got sticky pads, going to use all of them . Will the recharge help with earwigs?

Thanks Waira! I am using Kind Soil, so supposedly water only for the whole grow, but I am trying to come up with a plan if the soil nutes deplete too quick.

Most of the affected leaves are all on the perimeter of the plant so most likely to rub up against the walls of the tent or be man handled when I pick up the pots.

I am keeping a close eye out for pests, but have not seena single on so far.

:smoking: no prob Gin',....
Hmmmm, pot volume vs. plant size is a big factor with these "water only" gigs! KS did not show ell here when we tested a few years back,.. late depletion was common so be sure to have some base nutes and supp's around,... Si, humic-fulvic, kelp, inoculants, enzymes, a micronute supplement (Earth Juice Microblast is my fav') are some things that can be applied through out the grow in any case!
