Hello, everyone I would've posted this under the light section but I wasn't able to find HLG as one of the companies. Tonight I went to a buddies house and we put together a light fixture for my 2x QB96s. I couldn't believe how bright they are! Unfortunately we didn't have a small enough screw driver to dim the lights there so I headed home with my new fixture. When I got home I was able to find a screwdriver small enough to dim the fixture but I was curious how far should I dim it down? I don't have any electrical tech stuff and i'm not that handy. My girls just sprouted today and I know they can't stand they type of light at max voltage. If I turn both dials down all the way on my HLG-320-54a driver will that be ok for my seedlings? If anyone has used these lights and can help this newb out I would greatly appreciate it!

You could your lights at max but set the lights 36-48" plus there max wattage on that driver plus meanwell underrates the power of their drivers so at max you would be running 341 watts.

I don't dim my lights I just start them high but you can adjust the voltage and dim down to 50% to start with until you and your plants get accustomed to that light. Could start them at 24" at half power just watch them

I’m running two QB96’s with their own HLG185 drivers. In a 4x2x5 tent I just turned the power down a tad cause they are very powerful. Haven’t looked back since
