Hi guys, in my room its like 32c now since the summer has started.
and there is a big heat build up in my flat. im running cooled 600w HPS and im thinking to switch to 200w cfl to lower the temps but the blulb is blue spectrum...what do you guys think ? is it a good idea?
im in a flushing regime currently so that means 2 more weeks max..

i cant run AC in the room at the moment my electric bill would be sky high :D
i did pretty much anything i can do with ventilation (420cfm sucking the air out, another 400ccm is cooling the bulb in a cool tube, one intake, 2 passive intakes, and two fans blowing on the cannopy).. but its 35c outside

ok i understand!

before my a/c, my plants got around 32C sometimes with little or no issue at all. Sometimes the leaves roll a lil on the edges. Not a big deal, at least in my setup.

A temp drop at night will help too !

I grow a lot of highland plants(not cannabis), so i understand your concern bro :)

If you are downsizing why not try something from the Cob Shop? LED while not completely cool by any means are still more manageable than hps in terms of energy and heat. That, or dim your light to 50%. Unless you rock a magnetic ballast, in which case, my bad.

thanks for the support guys..
@dals09 maybe i will stick to hps for a few days and see, but they are calling 38c for the weekend

@Micron Creek im looking at LED for the future but right now im not planing to invest in new lights and yeah mate: magnetic balast it is ;)

@KonopCh why so high humidity bro?

Do u have a coolbox.? U can make ur own a/c with a mini van
