Live Stoner Chat Hi from a UK total noob and insomniac.

Hi all, I've just joined the forum after lurking about for ages, so I thought I'd better introduce myself. I'm in my fifties, but this will be the first time I've ever attempted to grow my own weed for personal medicinal use for me and my missus. I'm a little way off starting my grow because I'm still accumulating the tools and paraphernalia I need. I have my tent, which is a few years old but barely used secret jardin dr150, a 600w HPS with a magnetic ballast, and that's it so far. Oh apart from some seeds. I bought seeds, I couldn't help myself, a 420 deal I couldn't pass up lol, 5 Humboldt blue dream autos, and a couple of RQS amnesia haze autos. Anyway, lots to learn and lots to buy still before I get them popped, so I'll be here quite a bit cleaning info and tips, and hopefully sharing my experience along the way. Sorry if I sent you all to sleep with my rambling, I'll shut up now[emoji51]

Cheers Charlie, we've got the house to ourselves now our last kid has buggered off to ozz, so we can do what we like now, YAAAY! Wasn't expecting a reply this time of night, forgetting about different time zones and all. I've been reading loads online, really like this forum in particular though, a friendly, approachable and knowledgeable group of people.

I started growing autos and nothing but autos at 50. I have never looked back and I have not grown one photo. So you are in the right place my man happy to have you along Youngster LOL

Hey Swan, I'm trying to keep it simple, so with that in mind I am leaning towards getting a 2 pot autopot system that I can build on as my experience grows, along with biotabs. For extraction I'm looking at a 6" rvk A1 and rhino filter, a timer, contactor, fan speed controller, temp/humidity reader, various adjustable hangers etc etc..... Any recommendations or otherwise greatly appreciated [emoji3]
