This is a hermie, right?

And if so, why does it keep happening. I've had someone zip me in my tent with the lights off. There is no problem there. Everything has been stable. I've even been impressed myself with how well I've done with temperature and humidity control. This has happened with multiple breeders seeds. Almost all of my plants actually.
Last run I did feminized photoperiod. They hermied late and had seeds, a couple were absolutely lousy with seeds.
The autos are always just like this with sacks, but it's like they just go that way naturally when the plant starts flowering.
This is so frustrating and has happened so many times now, it's making me want to give up.

No that's female. Not a herm. Those are caylx that form at the internod, normal. This is a full blown herm I had last year. I was looking for a male.

Late herms are sometimes normal. It is the plants last ditch effort to preserve its dna. If you see nanners, many times it's the plant saying I'm done.

omg. That's a female? I was thinking the little ball looking things were, well, balls.
That's amazing if so. This run of 8 autos is something I was really hoping would go smoothly so I could prove to myself that my photos were a fluke or growing pains from moving into a newer bigger tent.

I'll get a pic of my current run, hang on a sec...

That may have been what happened with my photos. Is there a way to prevent this besides/better than monitoring trichrome development so they don't go past their peak/prime harvesting time?

Different strain, so slightly different look, but you can see the hair instead of either dangling balls, or bananas

lookz like a reg ol' girl to me...but, disclaimer -> me have stoned eyez, not trained eyez, so...:baked: ppp

Keeping mothers and cloning is really the only way I know of keeping it from happening at the end. After 1 run, you can shorten it up if needed cause it's the same plant next time.

Might look into a product called switch, I think. Was meant to be foliar fed during transition and inhibit any male hormones.

But... if you need to go to that extent, it is probably environmental not genetic. Light leaks, accidental door open, green light left on etc.

I'm relieved. I'm glad i stayed (relatively) calm and came here. I guess I'm just on edge after the mishap on my last grow.
Thank you!
