New Grower Help with buying new t5

Im buying a new light this week for my auto closet which is 6ft long by 3ft wide and like 8ft tall I have a 400 watt hps/mh light in there now and I have 7 plants in there now and it's not enough light my idea is to hang my 400 vertical and buy a either 8 bulb or 12 bulb t5 HO for top lighting I'm looking to do maybe 10 autos in there let me know what guys think

Awesome that's what I was thinking as well should I go with 12 bulb or is that over kill for that area

If it will fit then nothing is overkill, IMO. Also the Quantum tubes are worth getting with them.

Thanks everyone I'm glad I looked the 12 lamp won't fit it's to wide so I'm going with the eight lamp and thanks jackal I'm deff gonna get the quantum bulbs do you run a mixed spectrum or just change with stages

thanks TBM i was thinking of just running bloom bulbs then in flower run my hps verticle just ordered 8 bulb quantum badboy cant wait for it to get here

I have been using all bloom bulbs for flowering, with great results. I'm gonna experiment with adding a few veg bulbs in the mix but keep the majority bloom bulbs.

You made a great choice. I also have a sunblaze t-5 and a bad boy. The sunblaze dosent have any top vents so in my tent a 2x4 it runs warm .
