Hi, new to the forum, so a quick bio on myself....
Been growing Auto's for about 2 years in a 4x4 Tent with LED Full Spectrum lighting. Use a Humidifier set to Approx. 50% as well as a small fan which cycles on and off all day. Soil in 5 gal fabric pots.

I grow at 19/5 light cycle and other than Thrips last year, have never had an issue.

So my problem....
Grew 4 plants of Tangie strain. All 4 were flowering around the 4 week stage and I harvested 3 of them in 82 days from germination to cut down. Tangie seems to take a bit longer.
One of my plants is not cooperating. It is nearly 3.5' tall (much taller than the other 3), and wasn't even flowering at all until day 70. Now I am almost 100 days in, and the plant just has the tiniest flower points throughout the plant.

I know what your thinking... This is not an Auto....however that place I get my seeds swears that I could never have gotten a photo seed.....

I'll attach a pic, and I'm open to speculation. I'm no expert, but I've successfully grown about 40 plants in the last 2 years and I'm stumped. Also, the leaves near the top and middle are curling down. Maybe too much wind or heat, but I keep nutrients very low, and there is no burn on the tips.

WHY won't this flower properly?????

@Deftone :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome:.

It is flowering. I just is not fulfilling your idea of flowering. Seeds are genetic wonders no two the same. If bred properly most will exhibit very similar features. Some will have a normally recessive trait become dominant and that plant can be very different from its siblings. I believe this is what you are dealing with. It does look like you may be feeding a bit too much N and it would not hurt to give a P-K boost to kick it down the road some more.

There comes a time when the economics of a mutant do not pencil out. That is a personal decision. I love growing them out.

:goodluck:

I have nothing but time.... I can see this one through, but I'm wondering if I should change the lighting to 12/12 or just play it out like an odd autoflower and leave it...

Since it has begun flower on 19/5, you can be sure its an auto. You dont need to shorten it's "day" unless you want to reduce your potential yield as well. But your leaves are limp and droopy, almost "clawing".
