I have fast bud autos, pineapple express, girl scout cookie, and black berry. I am using ProMix HP and House and garden soil nutrients. Pineapple and girl scout are week 1 of flower and are having issues. Leaves are yellowing at the tips, and older veg has spots. I dont know if its nute burn or deficiency. Having same issues with the blackberries whoch are week 2-3 flower. I am feeding quarter strength every 2-3 days. Need help to determine what the issues are.

need some more input from your grow, joe. PH going in and coming out? lighting used? Do you have cal/mag on hand? Do you have a ph probe(accurate 8)?

Ph going in is always between 6.0-6.3 is8ng a calibrated ph meter. Unsure how to check ph coming out. I am running 2 1000w hps, temp around 78-80 while lights on, unfortunately my basement is cold right now and temp drops to around 60 with lights off for 6 hours. No cal/mag just house and garden a/b soil and additives.

Gonna flush tomorrow, but unsure if this is being caused by over feeding or under feeding. I have a very hard time distinguishing which is the issue. I used to grow regular plants and always fed close to full strength without anu issues. Was told to start at a quater stregth and go from there. Plant were fine during veg. Theb when flower began so did these issues.

Sorry about not getting back so soon. To check your mediums ph, simply water/feed as you would, collect just a bit of runoff and hit it with your ph meter. what is the difference in the ph going in and the runoff and that will tell you how you need to adjust. 60* is a bit low, but should not affect the plants much. In flower, you should be able to up your feed to 1/2 strength or better, just be careful and go up, until you get burnt tips and back off a bit. I would suspect your ph is off in your medium. What medium are you in?

that there ^^^^ is for sure a mag deficiency also cal is showing through...your tips are showing deficiency not nute burn, you really need to be adding cal/mag every watering during veg when running COCO ....its a bugger of a medium to get sweet thats why i grow organic`s.

p.s up your ferts the plant is very hungry !!!

I am using promix hp. I did check the run off when flushung yesterday. Water in was at 6.2, and run off came out at 5.3. So if i understand right, i need to up the nutes? What is showing in the pics is a deficiency, not burn?

So up the nutes? Im gonna go half strength and see what happens. Also, if im watering at 6.3ph in and run off is coming out at 5.3, what should o be doing to adjust the ph of my medium. Im am using promix hp, not coco. And thank you for your reply and any help you can offer me.

You can use dolomite lime sprinkled on top of your soil just a little bit start with 1 tbs/ gallon of soil and water that into the soil and see where you are in a day or so. For a 3-gallon pot put in 3 tbs of dolomite lime sprinkled on the surface of the soil and water it in. You can add dolomite lime into your soil mix before you start it helps maintain steady pH. I hope this helps.
