Hello everyone iam new to the forum and have not long started my 1st grow and iam having a few problems i hope one of you nice people on here could help me with. I choose pineapple express auto and theyre 25 days old now under a 20/4 cycle. They were all fine up until 1week ago and they started to go yellow on the leaves and some of the leaves on one plant in particular looked to be dying, and has stopped growing. The other 3 seem to be ok but i have noticed some yellowing on the leaves today and iam getting concerned! The ph level is 6.9 water and 7in the soil. i think this could be the problem but i dont really know how to rectify it so any help you could give me would be very much appreciated!!!! I have put a few pics up to let you see. weed 018.jpgweed 018.jpgweed 019.jpgweed 020.jpgweed 022.jpgweed 023.jpgweed 024.jpgweed 025.jpgweed 026.jpg

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure we can help you out. It looks like you've got some nutrient lockout from your pH being off. In order to help you we'll need information about your growing setup and how you've been growing them. Soil, lights, temperature, nutrients, when you've watered, anything that you've done. The more you can tell us the better we can help. Also, what are you using to test the pH?

Welcome to AFN

Your PH needs to come down. You need to be in the 6.3-6.5 range. You should do a 6.3 plain watering next and see how they do. What nutes are you giving them? What soil are you using?

Thanks for the replies people, The soil is bio bizz all mix temp is 72-74f nutrients are biobizz grow and bloom.I have only in the last few days started the on the nutes before that it was straight water. The set up is 2 x 250 watt cfls and iam using a ph and mositure tester form b and q and also a ph testing kit from my aquarium. Hope this helps?

If that pH meter is one of the cheap ones, $15 - $20, they are notoriously inaccurate. Next feeding lower the pH of your solution to the low 6's as Scott suggested. Catch some of the run off from the bottom of the pots and let us know what it is. Your high pH is probably inhibiting the plant's ability to take up nutrients properly, causing the deficiency that is effecting your leaves. You might also get your temp up a bit. 78 - 80 is ideal.

Got a digital ph meter today which was expensive but well worth it in the long run i think. Flushed today with 6.5 water and the run off was 6.3 so i'm happy with that now and will see what happens over the next few days.

As for going back on nuts I think 24-48 hours should be ok. 3 of the plants are still looking healthy and still growing. Sound ok?

A good pH meter is well worth the cost as more often than not, pH is the root of many issues. Good number on the run off. Let them dry out good from the flush before you feed again.

Not to hijack your thread buddy but what do you guys thinks is a good digital ph meter? I had an old one that just broke and all the new one's I look at get horrible reviews....
