Hey guys, if it were all my way, we'd be growing these autos straight soil right now. Soil is what I know. Soil is simple. Give it light airy soil, enough root space, organic ferts, and it basically does its own thing. However, I am stuck in hydro for growing autos over the winter... And the problem is that hydro has mysterious problems that are not easily diagnosed and fixed at the source.
The problem is that none of our seedlings like it at all. Bigger plants and clones do fine, but our seedlings are generally unhappy. We keep a 2-300 ppm feed in there and we have leaves curling up, lower leaves dying off, and fanleaves yellowing between veins.
What do you think could be the problem? Are they deficient in something? Overfed? Our purple jems didn't do too swell in the hydro because they had pH swings. Now the mossy mix and samurai jacks are doing basically just as bad. I'm kind of sad actually because the growth is 1/2 to 1/3 of what I've seen them do in soil at 30 days.
anyways, here are the pictures. I'm thinking it's maybe a Potassium deficiency, just far advanced? Gave them low dose of epsom salts last week thinking it was mag, but they haven't seemed to improve because as new growth starts, the growth right under it slowly begins to wilt.
