Well i get home today and check on my baby's and I found mold growing on my dirt, around the edges on the pot. Can anyone recommend something i can get at home depot or make my self to get rid of it. :help:

Depending on the brand, and how much mold/fungus there is, you may not have a problem. If you're using a Fox Farm mix, they'll tell you on their website that it happens and it's not big deal. As with anything else, it's hard to know exactly what you have, when we can't see it. And, it's not hard to understand that taking pictures of fungi could be challenging.

I get it when I'm doing a cutting or anytime I have soil mix in a humidome type environment, where the mix is kept damp. It has never caused me any problems and clears up as soon as the mix is exposed to air flow for a few days.

I really don't know what to tell you about killing it and I doubt that's a good idea. :peace:

Thanks i need to get something in there to measure humidity. I live in Florida and it can be a real problem here.

Ventilation can fix it if you're indoors. If you're outside, I'm not sure how to tell you to fix it, but extra ventilation will at least help. :peace:
