I have a generic Parlux 600w ballast. I don't have a Lead in between the Ballast and the light because i saved 10 on it, i didn't know it was complicated to wire.
The ballast has power in, and kettle lead male out(3 pins).
The Kettle Lead Male Out, presumable goes to the light. I unscrewed it, has two beige wires and one green. The input of the ceramic socket has just 2 inputs, Neutral and Live.
I presume that the green from the ballast is Neutral?! it should be black, green is Ground!!!!!???
If no, The two beige wires are N and L, but they are the same color, so how do i tell? i have a multimeter. why do i have Ground on the 600w DC output?
Complete instructions would be welcome, i'm a dab hand with electricity, but this ballast is not clearly marked!
