Hi guys. I will post a pic asap but need help with plant. It is happening to both an auto and a photo in my tent. The leaves are yellowing on whole plant but have these green veins still. It almost looks like zebra or something. I tried looking at a chart but other than nutriment burn almost all look same to me. Also the leaves are cupping almost like creating a mini bowl in the center of leaf. Any ideas? Growing in 3 gallon pots ocean forest fox farm nutes. I did not start nutrients on autos till 2 days ago. Autos are day 17 from seed. Photo plant week 6 veg.

have you tested the ph? that's where I would start checking first. ph too high or too low can cause nutrient lockout, and deficiencies.I don't mean to put down any soil mixture, but I notice alot of growers on here having to amend FFOF soil.

My ph normally is. 7.5 water... I ph to 5.6. Also the cupping would be as if u took a cup and flipper it upside down on table. The round bottom up toward light.

is 5.6 your target ph? or are you saying 7.5 ph water goes in and 5.6ph water comes out?

I'm sorry typo 6.5 water ph down to. I'm going to check runoff on next watering.

I agee, probably a pH issue. You may have feed them a bit too early as well. FFOF has a lot of nutrients in it, usually enough for the first 3-4 weeks. I would only give plain pHed water the next feed and see where your run off it at.

The cupping could be several things: over feeding, under feeding, over lighting/temperature, over watering and under watering. It looks like you can just throw a problem it will fit... There's some ways to find out which, for example, if the cupping occurs during the light period and kinda flattens up when you close the lights it's because too high temps and lights. Under feeding can be a symptom of wrong pH in soil.

The yellowing between veins can also be several things. Depending on the color, if there are burnt areas, where does it show more (where did it start) in the bottom or in the new growth? The pic would do wonders :)

I am working on tthe Pics... there is no burning of leaves. It may be heat issue. I got 1000w cranking in 4x4. Average temp is about 84 kn there but never above 90.

Ok so on my little photos I got going I tested runoff. I balanced ph to 6 exactly and the runoff came out at 5.4. I'm sure all my plants now are running in the mid to high 4 ph wise. What will that lock out? Also ph question. Do I balance water to what ph I want first then mix nutrients? Will that change the ph obviously to where I balanced? Or would I add nutrients then see where my ph is and then balance accordingly?

ok... at 4... you need to flush ASAP ... if in soil flush with 6.3 - 6.5 in hydro 5.8-5.9

nutrients usually pull ph lower... so i always add nutes.... stir thoroughly... then ph it... then buffer to point...

here's a few charts to help ya:
