Hi there,

its been almost 3 months, and the plant still not flowering. Ive switched to 12/12 a week ago, and change the led lights to flower mode and still no pistils to be seen.

its an auto speed bud strain. its just getting larger and larger and about to hit my leds...

what can i do to induce flowering? shall i swap the nutes to Bloom versions.. im currently still using the grow varient (dutch pro)

if you have switched to 12/12 it should start to flower within three weeks of the flip but you are going to be seriously pushed for space maybe think about super cropping her now before flower fully sets in try half her height if you can

I grew auto speed bud from female seeds in hydro and she took forever!!! I was laughing cuz of the name. Longest auto I have grown! I forget how long she took but it was not speedy at all I remember. Not in hydro at least. Autos in soil in general seem to finish much quicker for me than when I grew dwc hydro.

So ive supercropped the plant as much as i can. when i looked today. the main stem had reached and touched the light.... i did what i could at moving the plant away and bending it downwards without snapping the branches...

now... is there any way i can deliberately stunt its growth? because its getting ridiculous now. It needs to stop growing lmao i dont have anymore room in the tent!

thanks!

Top them if u already super cropped or keep supercropping. All u can do. I'd say top em

can i still top them at this age? i didnt think it was possible without heavily damaging the plant?
I accidently broke the main off a lady about that size and she shot out and grew 2 new shoots. If your flowering hell no u shouldn't top. But if she is still stretching and you have no other choice then I would top her if it was me if supercropping wasnt an option no more

Have you tried to gently pull and tie the main cola down at all? That's always an option too if ur able. Just be careful not to break by being too aggressive

Put a screw in the lid of your bucket and find something to try to pull her down like some thin rope and tie it to the screw in the bucket. I'd try that b4 topping. If that dont work I'd say try to top her.
